All I can tell you for a fact, and take it from someone that actually works in an Official Apple Store, the service you get when your device might not be working as you want it to be, is like no other.
I am not saying that other companies provide a bad service, but it useally is: send product, wait, a long time and eventually get a repaired or new device. While at Apple, even if some minor thing is not working correctly, for any iOS device it is done within 10 minutes. (A computer within less then two days.)
You don't get that any where else. When choosing a new phone, you don't only look at the design, the brand and the software, but also the back-up plan.
