I'm a bg hero anyways, I could live without arena or raids.
i dont really raid right now and i still play. i mean, i do LFR but that does NOT count as true raiding imo. i was a "hardcore" raider from the end of BC through dragon soul so it was a bit of a change up for me. i mainly do random BGs and other various stuff now.
ill probably get back into raiding next expansion though.
No I wouldn't, those are the main aspects of the endgame that really drive the experience for me. The game would feel seriously lacking if I couldn't do arenas. Its been quite a while (upwards of 2 years) since I did real progression raiding in a guild once I discovered how convenient and complex PvP was.
If you asked me back then if I would quit because I couldn't raid I would have said yes in a heartbeat.
I like soloing shit, but I'm beginning to get tired of this game. Without PvP and raiding, then there's no more real end-game content =/ (cept for dungeons).
So no.

Yes and no. Because I don't have the time for raiding, I don't have an active account right now. But at least for one month or so there is always something to do if a new patch comes out, even without raiding.
On a sidenote: I don't count LFR as raiding for the purposes of answering your question, as I think only organized normal / hc raids were meant.
Sure. I would just run around and do dailies, kill rares and pester general chat. That is exactly where 99% of the time spent in wow goes to anyway so not much of a change.
I don't raid, I don't PvP - and yet I've been playing for the last 8 and a half years, and I don't see any end in sight. I still enjoy playing nearly every day.
I'm willing to bet there's a fairly sizeable group of players that do the same.
Yeah. I take a lot of breaks but I haven't really raided since BC. I mean right now, I do LFR, but that doesn't count. I work on achievements, helping other players, some PVP, leveling alts. It's been going on 9 years and it's still a fun game, worth the $15 a month. But like I said, I do take breaks, 2-5 months at a time.
Yea I would play, once I hit max level for the first time, it was a long time before I got into raiding. Raided through DS (my first raiding experience) then took a gap in Panda until ToT. I pretty much just leveled up my alts, soloed dungeons and old raids for xmog gear and got Achievements. Kept me busy.
I would. Battlegrounds are also amazingly fun, and I spend a lot of my time leveling up alts anyway.
i would maybe log on say hi, troll trade a bit then log off, but i've came back to wow and said that was all i was going to do before, but i ended up jumping back into raiding hardcore within a week .
so i really dont think i could play wow if i couldn't raid.

There's a lot of stuff to do, I'd manage to find something. I usually only watch at arenas anyhow.
With no raiding I would quit. I'm taking a break until virtual realms to see how that helps with raiding options since my server has all but died. The 2 guilds that are left on my server don't fit my play style and transferring doesn't have enough value.

I mostly raid for progression now. I like levelling alts and stuff, but I doubt it would hold me. So, yeah, if there was no raiding, after all the years I've played, I'd probably be unsubbed right now. Although I'd still come back every expansion to see the new story.

If they brought back decent battlegrounds, yes. I used to play almost entirely for battlegrounds... but now, with gutted AV, timed WSG, "meh" EOTS, the catastrophe (personal opinion) of SotA and IoC, and the "wtf is going on here" of the new battlegrounds from MoP, I haven't enjoyed Battlegrounds since early Wrath, and the only one that I still feel good playing is AB (and to a lesser extent the AB copycat from Cata). So no, I would not play. I'm not playing now as it is, but if they brought back some good battlegrounds (or rebooted lower level PvP and removed the separate brackets from exp. capped players) then yes, I could play WoW without raids or arenas.
I mostly roleplay and thus have no time (or interest) for raiding, so yes.
