So mogu rune is used for SoO raid?

Front page shows the new timeless isle coin can be used for mogu rune. Does this imply the new tier raid will still use mogu runes for the bonus role?
I have being search ptr posts and so far there isn't any confirmed information. I want to know if I should start stocking up mogu runes now if that's the case.

Probably not. It'll likely be a mechanism to farm Mogu Runes for ToT content, much like Isle of Thunder for Elder Charms and T14 content. That way, we can then use Lesser Charms on the weekly quest to exchange for the new "5.4 Rune."

Why? You can also still obtain Elder Chains on the Isle of Thunder, which are only used for the previous tier.
I guess it's the same with Mogu Runes and the Timeless Isle now.

Mogu rune stones will only work for Nalak, Oondasta and ToT LFR/N/HC.

The new coins aren't revealed yet, but that shouldn't take too long tbh.

If anything it implies that they won't be used in Siege. Sounds more analogous to elder charms in Isle of Thunder.
