Building a computer for a friend. 10000 SEK (£1000) Budget

Hello. My friend has asked me to build a computer for him. I threw a shopping list together but I haven't been in the loop on the current parts since early 2012 so I was looking for some feedback. The budget is 10000 SEK, €1160, £1000 or $1530. We both live in Sweden.

    Here's what I put together:

    DVD: ASUS DVD±RW - 159 SEK

    Motherboard: Asus Z87-A - 1290 SEK

    RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 - 1249 SEK

Case: Fractal Design XL R2 - Black Pearl - 1099 SEK

    CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k - 2749 SEK

    GPU: MSI GTX 760

    SDD: Samsung 840 120GB SATA3 - 789 SEK

HDD: He's already got 2TB of storage.

PSU: Corsair CX 600M (Modular) - 629 SEK

He's really into editing and 3d rendering which is why I included the i7 and the 16GBs of RAM. He also wants to play the newest games on the highest setting or close to it on a 27" 1920x1080 monitor. He's already got a copy of windows 7 and all peripherals.

Now, what should I change? Is the Mobo good? Preferably I'd like to get it down 500 SEK further since it's up on 10 454 SEK now.

You mean Z87-A as motherboard I guess, that's fine.

To drop the price however you can really drop to 8GB of RAM, 16 are little needed for anything currently, such as G.Skill Ares, which are also low enough to fit under the noctua mentioned later.

That PSU isn't really great either, I'd get something like the XFX 550W.

I'd also get a cheaper case such as the Corsair Carbde 500R.

Finally, I'd get a CPU cooler such as the Noctua NH-D14 to make full use of the overclocking potential of your processor.

Get the 7950 instead if he wants to play on highest settings.
Overclocking the card will bring it to a whole other level that the 760 can never compete against.
