I know we're getting a bit off topic here, but if you're interested in this subject I recommend the book "On Killing: The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society" by Lt. Col. Dave Grossmann to you. With the exception of some passages where he states that playing video games make killing easier it's a great book!
