Not sure yet, usually I like to abuse immortal bear on my ranger but I might just use another toon if I need more dps.

Huge changes to longbow Rangers. They now get a stealth mechanic and a blast finisher. I just started leveling one. Should be interesting to try it out in WvW.

Hunter’s Shot: This skill no longer applies vulnerability on each hit, but now grantss the ranger stealth for 3 seconds.
Call of the Wild: This skill is now a blast finisher.


Also the new Aetherblade weapon skins are coming from the Black Lion chests and are tradeable. I want 5 of the skins so this should make it easier for me just to buy them if I don't get any drops during the Candidate Trials.

Oh good the fixed fear being reduced by -stun duration.

Null Field: Reduced the recharge to 40 seconds.
Signet of Domination: Increased the stun duration to 3 seconds.

The part you're talking about is actually a nerf to LB ranger (burst).

Rapid Fire: This skill now applies vulnerability on each hit.
Hunter’s Shot: This skill no longer applies vulnerability on each hit, but now grantss the ranger stealth for 3 seconds.

Basically what a-net's done is make sure that the combo: Hunter's shot>Barrage>RF no longer has 20+ stacks of vulnerability, which was the main "power" behind LB rangers. It will now be close to impossible to get big bursts off once an enemy gets in melee range since the only "powerful" attack that benefits from the vulnerability you put up is Barrage and it will be impossible to get more than 10stacks of vulnerability for that.

I'm glad they finally are taking out some of the contradictory stuff in GS though, that was much needed. The WH change is nice to combine with healing spring. And sets us more "on par" with warrior WH although our CD's are a lot longer and IMO a 5sec reduction wouldn't be OP, but I'm given the hand and grabbing the arm now so I won't fuss

I'm not a fan of stealth mechanics when not playing thief. It's sort of a gimmick in my eyes to give more appeal to 1 MM GM trait which is poor design imo.

Pistol dagger got torment on shadow strike, but until cloak and dagger -> 6 stack of bleed opening gets nerfed nobody will bother.

The Black Lion Chest now has a common chance to drop Black Lion Ticket Scraps and a rare chance to drop Black Lion Claim Tickets, which can be redeemed for Aetherblade weapon skins. Players can visit a Black Lion Weapon Specialist to preview Aetherblade weapon skins. Black Lion Chest Keys can be purchased in the Consumable category for 125 gems each or 5 for 450 gems.

I was thinking that myself but before the election it only takes 1 ticket to get a skin. After the election it rises to 5 tickets to get a skin, so voting for Gnashblade won't make much of a difference I'm guessing.

Yes but this proves that weapon skins being tied to black lion chests still happens. Save the keys for the next time it happens.

Pfffft, you don't need to lie, you just need to leave out some key details.... Like "Oh don't worry walking through that hallway wont kill you!!" or "I promise that i didn't lay down a bunch of traps here!"

Rangers are going to be having a fucking Hayday with that stealth.... and Mel, LB is supposed to be a sniper weapon, it's not supposed to be very good in melee and Remorseless will now allow rangers to maintain pretty much perma 20stacks of vuln, and give them a guaranteed crit, that's a buff if i've ever seen one!!

So.. you need the Representation Buttons to finish certain parts of the achievements, and you need to do these things wearing the button for both Evon and Kiel if you want both minis... So that pretty much guarantees a lot of people will be voting pretty equally for both. Unless less people that I think care about the Minis. Just seems like an odd way to set things up.
