Blizzard Considering A New Supportive Class For WoW

World of Warcraft Lead System Designer Greg Street, aka ghost crab, along with the game's Technical Director Marco Koegler, told at ChinaJoy 2013 today that they are considering adding a supportive class that focuses on providing buff for the group. He didn't tell any other details about the new class. Another thing that can raise WoW fans' attention was that Greg Street teased this year's BlizzCon is a very good place and perfect time to announce the next expansion.

I don't get this. I seem to remember no boots showing at all on my worgen.

Yeah but theyre still sort of THERE, like wrapped around the ankles or whatever, Naga would be complicated, would you just stick a boot on the end of their tail? Would you have a texture wrapped around the end of their tail? It would be something that would need some ideas

Haha thats crazy, but whats worth noting is that there is evidence that Ghostcrawler is attending that Chinajoy 2013 thing, and a google image search using the pictures of Ghostcrawler seems to indicate that it is that sites pictures and not somebody elses

Yeah, sorry, but Blizzard doesn't talk about future expansions like that until they announce them. I'm going to remain skeptical on pretty much everything in this thread and at that link until such things are actually announced.

I wouldn't overly worry about the Ghostcrab business. Because translating Chinese to English sometimes doesn't work out.

I'm also confused by the 'returning to Azeroth' business. Pandaria is on Azeroth so maybe that's the same thing. Translation issues.

The larger point is that trying to suss out the true meaning from GC's interview through a translator and then back again to English from what was understood by the writer (which might not be entirely accurate if the translation was murky) might be tricky.

I don't get everyone's obsession with Naga. I for one do not want to see them as playable and I don't want a water based expansion Vashj'ir's depth perception was a nightmare.
