Finding deleted facebook posts without subpoenaing Facebook?

    Hey all,

I'm trying to help a friend with a legal issue. She recently got threatened on Facebook (several times by the same person) and is pressing charges. Once he was informed of the charges, he deleted his threats off Facebook. Unfortunately, my friend never took screenshots and has no evidence of these threats. I tried using archive.org to find them (he posted them as status updates), but his profile isn't public-facing so there was never any public record of his threats.

Without trying to subpoena Facebook and get it from their records (I'm sure they keep it somewhere), is there any way anyone can think of to get a copy of the threat? Any place it might have been backlogged / cached?

    Thanks

If it wasn't a public statement, then you're not going to find it on any kind of web archiving site.
