    Laptop HDD Problems

My new laptop has a problem showing the 2nd HDD. When I installed windows during the pick your install bit both of them showed up. But now that I'm in the computer I just noticed that only one shows up. Yet in the device manager. boot menus, and in my disk tool the 2nd one shows up. Is there a hide drive option that I missed or something of that nature?

Is it a new drive? If so, you need to initialize it in drive management first

The laptop is brand new. I had to install my own OS. How would I go about doing that? Or a resource to give me a hand at it. Thanks so much.

Start > Right click Computer > Manage > Disk Management > Right Click on second drive > Click Initialize, then it should be able to format from there
