Deciding what to play

Figured this was the best place to put this.

I'm making a return to WoW, because I miss this game. Unfortunately, this time around I'm employed with a random and dynamic schedule so I'm opting for PvP rather than what I'm used to, PvE.

So my current dilemma is deciding what to play as. I will mostly be doing battlegrounds and 2s as it will be easiest for me to do on the fly. I just hit 90 on my priest, but I don't really want to heal and Shadow isn't all that great for PvP I believe (correct me if I'm wrong). I want to be a DPS of some sort, but I dunno what to play as. So I was wondering what classes/specs are doing well this patch, or will be doing well next one.

Yes you are right, shadow isnt the best spec for 2s atm. If you did decide to go that route I would suggest a frost mage/rogue/feral/ret(not sure about this one but ive been told its a good comp) for a partner. You could go with a rdruid(best healer option)/other healer but games tend to be longer. I usually stick to double dps on my shadow alt for fast and fun games.

Right now for 2s some of the better DPS specs are hunter, feral, ele, DK, and to a lesser extent ret. Correct me if im wrong but thats the DPS specs I see most often at 1900-2kmmr currently. Havent fully followed patch notes so unsure of 5.4
