Lightbulb Enchanted Fey Dragon is Heart of the Aspects in sense of expansion hint.

Heart of the Aspects had this chinese dragon feeling over it.
I believe, Enchanted Fey Dragon will be the next mount in Blizzard Store, like what Heart of the Aspects was before Mists of Pandaria.

"Faerie dragons, also known as sprites or blink dragons, are fey that look like flying lizards (much like a chameleon with butterfly wings). Though not actual dragons, these mystical looking creatures police the Emerald Dream from magic."

So the Enchanted Fey Dragon is leading us to the Emerald Dream world, as Heart of the Aspects lead us to Pandaria, in some sense.

Now many things are said, by fellow members of this forum, as facts about Emerald Dream but..
You cannot use that as facts as Emerald Dream can be shaped to be whatever Blizzard need it to be, in sense of artwork and in sense of lore.
Because in the end, whatever it may be about the Emerald Dream, it has not happen yet. It's in the future, we only know of the past.

What Emerald Dream used to be about, can be something else now.

--- That was ONE theory --

--- This is the SECOND theory --

"After the second invasion of the Burning Legion, Malfurion Stormrage summoned them from the Emerald Dream to help purge the night elf forests of demonic magics and were called into service briefly during the night elves' hunt for Illidan."

So in the end, this Enchanted Fey Dragon has a link to both the Emerald Dream and the Burning Legion.

What do you make of it?

    --- Third late theory ---

What if the Burning Legion is inside of the Emerald Dream and wish to use this:

    to enter Azeroth?

The Heart of the Aspects is a luminous dragon born of the radiant energies of the Dragon Soul artifact.[1] With a glow said to be the equal of a thousand suns, this drakes' blinding light is much like attacking a foe with the sun at your back.[2]

so no it had nothing to do with mop and was not a hint.

Something will definitely be up with Burning Legion and/or The Emerald Dream in the next expansion. I hope we will finally see some nice phasing tech for Emerald Dream.

I made the same connection, first thing that popped in my head when the model was revealed tbh.

IMO...The longer we wait not knowing what this thing is or how to get it, the more likely it's tied to the next xpac.

They wrapped up the Emerald Dream storyline in Stormrage. Besides, the Emerald Dream is just a reskinned version of pre Sundering Azeroth.

Yeah, the fact that it looked like an oriental dragon was just a coincidence.

So... the celestial steed foretold Cataclysm, then?

The heart of the aspects had absolutely nothing to do with mists of Pandaria. The reasoning of "they're kind of serpentine" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Heart of the aspects has wings. Thrall fired a heart of the aspects out of the dragon soul. The heart of the aspects was released in conjunction with a mini-pet heart of the aspects.

One glaring problem with your theory. heart of the aspects wasn't related to Pandaria except that it was an asian-looking dragon. It didn't share a model with the Cloud Serpents, it wasn't Heart of Pandaria, it was Heart of the Aspects.... the heroes of Cataclysm!?

This is the right of it, I'm also sure we've had this topic before...

I do love that mount though

I'm surprised you kept your Fey Dragon and Stormcrow threads separate, though you could be trying to pad out your speculating threads?

Either way, true the Fey Dragon, and even Stormcrow is druid/emerald dream related. But would they really add them in this early if that was the case? They would keep it a secret in that case.

Heart of the aspects and the faery dragon mount are both epic flying mounts released at or near the end of an expansion. Celestial Steed was the standard raid theme mount of Ulduar so that's completely irrelevant.

Folks, the heart of the aspects might not be exactly like the cloud serpents, but it's still a serpentine dragon that's very similar. With blizzard's tendency to drop subtle hints and their fondness of reusing models/animations, it's still highly plausible that this thing relates to the next expansion.

EDIT: Oops forgot about the stormcrow too. Yet more potential evidence.

If by ''wrapped up'' you mean ''Well guys, we found the source, let's post a few warning signs and be on with other business''

Or in more serious terms, the Rift of Aln, the source of the Emerald Nightmare, wasn't dealt with.
It's even stated in ''Dawn of the Aspects'' that one of the green dragons mentions that the Nightmare was stirring within the Rift, and that it seemed to be searching for a new Nightmare Lord. Ysera responded to that, saying that it's now the work of the druids to watch over the Emerald Dream.

its possible. the aspect mount was suppose to be to do with dragon soul, yet it looks nothing like any dragon we had seen on Azeroth at that time, but had some similarities to cloud serpents of MoP. aside from the wings on the heart of the aspects they look very similar, so it may have been a hint.

I can not see Blizzard jumping into ED straight after MoP. They're way too similar.

well, i thought there was only a small amount of corruption left in ED, seems more fitting for that to be included in a raid, unless some shit hits the fan in there.

The faerie dragon hasn't even been released yet... So far, your argument is predicated on the armored bloodwing being relevant to the next expansion. So right now, it's "highly plausible" that the expansion is going to be forsaken themed, right?

And the celestial steed WAS the last mount released on the blizzard store before Cataclysm, right? So obviously, that's how they told us Deathwing was coming back. The sparklepony.

The single animation that the cloud serpent and heart of the aspects share is the SWIMMING animation. Oh gee, big hint there.

It's definitely possible. Perhaps next expansion will have multiple themes (raid patches) including the emerald dream.

While true, there is something interesting to note.

Take a look at the four Celestials. They're based off the Four Symbols, mythological creatures and constellations. There, the four are the Azure Dragon Qinglong (East), the Vermilion Bird Zhuque (South), the White Tiger Baihu (West), and Black Tortoise Xuanwu (North). Their counterparts in the Celestials moved around a bit, changed color and animal (Azure to Jade, Tiger from West to North, Tortoise to Ox, etc), but the connection is there.

However, there is sometimes a fifth Guardian Beast that joins those four: Huang Long, the Yellow Dragon.

Now, I'm not saying its a hint, but it is kind of curious, wouldn't you say?

It's the shot fired from the Dragon Soul.

Also, it is based on the old Spirit of Competition pet from during the Beijing Olympics.

It didn't work out well for Cata, it won't work out well from the Dream.

As I've said again and again, the Dream is no suitable place to travel to. The major threat has been all but contained already in a novel, and the Dream is supposed to be Pristine Old God-less Azeroth. Then we go there and deforest the whole thing to fuel our War machines. It'd be Pandaria 2.0.

And yet Dawn of the Aspects says the Rift of Aln is disturbing and looking for another Nightmare Lord. I don't think we'll get whole era about the Dream but something slightly related.
