I see it like this..."the Casuals" were always the guys doing heroics and struggling to join for the first raid of the game. They lack time so Blizzard implemented LFG LFR queues for everyone anywhere you like and removed to community from the "World". .
Content too hard for you? Were heroics too much difficult for you in Lich King? Ok, we make the content mega easy so there is absolutely no challenge in doing it. Everyone is supposed to do everything easily now for the greater good of...seeing the content
The thing is...we don't want to see the whole game. We want it to be a challenge...a hard challenge that once completed we receive our rare flashy Crown to show off to everyone (I mean the cool looking epics from hard encounters). They were so good because of the unique looks and rarity of it...Now every casual can wear any item because content is all accessible.. And if a casual can do this EVERYONE can do it. There is no feel of reward nowadays.
Did I interpret you correctly?
Also, if the game is a joke and you still haven't beaten it or even approached it in its intended difficulty after this many months, what does that make you? I dare say that your self-proclaimed hardcore-ness is also a joke.

Who cry about LFR to be removed ? Casual ? Don't think so
Who cry about "wellfare epics" ? Casual ? Don't think so
Who cry about casualisation of the game ? Casual ? Don't think so
Hardcore players are terribly insecure about their future. They fear that all THEIR content will be given to everybody, with nothing left to show how better than other they are. And that's pretty sad. Of course they also are hardcore player who play the "right" way, for challenge, for friendship, but the majority of so called hardcore are just like I describe.
Okay, here's something that needs to stop:
The idea that "casuals" were the initial ones complaining. This is not true. This is a smokescreen.... concocted, I suppose... by special snowflakes who then attempt to "place it into the past" to justify their complaints by being able to say "THEY WANTED OUR CONTENT ALL ALONG!"
This is false.
This is how it really went down:
4.2: Non-raiders have absolutely nothing to do after they finish firelands dailies. People continue to leave, after having received very little to do in 4.1.
4.3:Blizzard knows players don't like difficult heroics. They know the heroics they have wont be enough to tide them over in the gearing process. There's no daily grind for 4.3; nothing beyond the dungeons and raids. They know MoP is still a ways away. They up their plans for LFR to include them for 4.3. No one asked for this; no one demanded LFR. Blizzard unilaterally put it into place.
In 4.3: Queue people complaining about LFR "stealing" the prestige from "real" raiders.
THERE. See that right there? THAT was the initial source of complaining. It was the SPECIAL SNOWFLAKES that were the ORIGINAL insecure ones. There was no "Blizzard, we want easy raids/copies of raid gear or any other bullshit that special snowflakes have attempted to 'inject' into the past" at the source of this complaining.
Casuals more or less don't give a damn WHAT they're doing, as long as they're DOING something. LFR just now HAPPENS to be that something, by Blizzard's design. So if you're looking for the INSECURE people, it's the people that started complaining about people in "THEIR" Raids, wanting them to, frankly, have nothing to do, because no other things existed. That is what is petty and insecure.
And to all the special snowflakes out there... No one wants to "be" you. No one wants "your" gear. No one wants "your" mount. No one wants "your" title. They might want gear of some form. They might think that a mount or title you happen to have LOOKS cool. But don't kid yourself. No facet of your being is something someone wants to be in this game. Once people accept this... the game will be a much better place.

This argument goes both ways.
LOL. It's not a matter of being insecure, it's more of a matter of not having enough time and energy or simply not caring enough to "punish" oneself over a game.
Complain? The vast majority can't be bothered. They just quit.
PS:The topic of the thread is incredibly ironic.
I don't care about Casuals completing content....but at least give them crappy looking Armor please to differentiate from the guys who put up time to do hard content. All they have is the same items and same looks. Just a "tag" in the item saying "heroic". That's not rewarding enough
Who are you calling insecure?!?! Oh wait... I just proved my point.
Whey they remember it that way, who knows... but my money is on them trying to rationalize their whining by making themselves seem the victims, when they were the initial aggressors of this whole thing.
why are you so insecure, answer that and youll answer your own question, now stop wasting our time
If you don't use LFR what does it matter if other people are? Not everyone has the time to devoted normal/heroic raiding. Also idk why anyone should care how other people are playing a video game, its just a game if you have fun playing it one way or the other then good for you.
Hate how people have to take games so seriously nowadays
It is a select segment of "casuals" who are insecure and have a lot of ego issues while comparing themselves to others. Not all casuals have ego issues and do take the game casually compared to these casuals who are more like hardcores who fail to make the cut. Just the ego it takes as well to claim that you are a casual and you speak in interest of all casuals itself is egotistical. Those who are vocal regardless of where they fall in game play behavior are still within the minority and it has already been shown particular given whats been going on in MoP that not all casuals want the same thing nor behave the same. The casual label covers a wide variety of players who are looking for different things and are not going to give two shits about what a hardcore is wearing while AFK outside of a bank. Those who get butthurt over someone else accomplishing more than them and being rewarded for it has ego issues themselves and display a competitive nature more in tune with the hardcore that they bash so much against. These kinds of players cant stand when someone else is rewarded more than them and must bring others down to their level so that no one else may be better than them in a video game.
Not all casuals are insecure and take the game so seriously to get butthurt over others accomplishing more in a video game than them. It is merely a select segment of them that get their panties in a bunch and demand that a shelf be brought down to their level.
