Trust me no one wants his job. NO ONE.
They literally couldn't fire him. I couldn't handle it. I don't think anyone I know could.
The Ghostcrab isnt going anywhere
He has a thankless job of keeping nerds entertained and i wouldnt have his job for all the sex and drugs in the world (well maybe i would lol)
FFS stop being so hyperbolic
Like I said, He gets shit wrong, but I don't envy his position, I don't know of anyone who could do the job better.
This is what I want to happen.
GC steps down, and Lore steps in.

GC is one of the most thick skinned developer I have seen. lol
no, and i don't think it matters anyway. the damage he has done is irreparable
Your claim would be as good as mine if I turned your words around and said "It is only BECAUSE of GCs decision that this many people have stuck around so long with such an old game".
If the game hadn't evolved since TBC and changes implemented, WoW would have under a million subs.
And there is nothing either of us can do to prove it...

Stating an opinion as fact does not make it fact. Opinions are not fact. So don't be stupid and make a fool of yourself by trying to pass off your opinion as fact.
Ghostcrawler has been one of the best things to happen to WoW balance in a long time. Almost every spec is viable at least in PVE. All tanks and all healers are relatively close to each other. PVP may be another story, but for PVE balance has been very solid.
I guess the GC-haters would have preferred to go back to the era of Tigole and Foror, where Warriors were the only tanks, all heal-capable hybrids were told to heal or STFU, and mages and enhancement shamans one-shot everyone.
I would agree with the posters that think GC has kept subscribers from falling even more than they did. I also disagree with the premise the flex is a weak solution for a lack of catch-up content - catch-up content exists already, people are just too impatient to do a lot of it. Flex may provide something of a solution there, in that people can carry their friends, but old heroics provided that as well (and more effectively). More importantly, flex fills the role of the old 10m normal runs.
Lore is an entertaining guy, and I used to watch the weekly marmot regularly. Unfortunately, while knowledgeable, as you get more experienced and more progressed, you start to realize that he isn't nearly as knowledgeable as he first seems. While I don't doubt he has a beneficial role to play at Blizzard, I don't think he could do GC's job.
