Great change if it is pulled of, especially if the "tier" bosses now drop 1 token of each= less chance of dropping useless stuff and rng for that one part of the set gets reduced greatly (not uncomon to see 1 token go for someones 2nd offspec while some dont even have their mainspec token, just because the boss drops 3* 1 type of token for a few weeks in a row)

Honestly I think the best way of handling tokens was ToC I think where it wasn't divided up by classes.

Actually I would say this is probably going to be like the old "Forlorn Essence" - a kind of wildcard token that can be traded for any set piece.

The normal set tokens are already in the PTR and have been for weeks.

There's no armour slot listed (hands/chest/shoulders etc).

ToC's trophy system was the best imo

It won't be anything like the T10 gear or T9's trophy system - you dont just buy tier sets anymore and you can't be expected to farm LFR or flex just so you can upgrade your gear to normal.

Besides, these new tokens exist in addition to conventional set tokens.

Wildcard token will probably dropp off Garrosh.

What I find rather odd are the Heroic Thunderforged tokens.

I actually prefer if helm tiers aren't only from the final boss. Most guilds aren't full-clearing normal anytime soon, and it just seems like the gating behind your (normal-mode) 4-sets has traditionally been a bit too big for most guilds.
