This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard on these forums. Your neighbors breastfed your sister? WTF is wrong with you people. Would bet dollars you live in some backwoods state like Alabama or Arkansas.

A wet nurse can help when a baby's natural mother is unable or chooses not to feed the infant. Feeding someone else kid with your breast milk is disgusting. Just as gross as pissing on someone or spitting in their mouth. It is gross.

Excuse me, I found that to be very rude. There are such things as milk banks for mothers to drop breast milk off to feed other peoples babies. And for you to suggest that instead of using real breastmilk, you'd rather the baby get formula which 1) is expensive. 2) does not contain the nutrients that breastmilk does. 3) Is not easily digested (It's hard to find the right formula, ever notice how many different kinds there are at the store?).

My point is, breastmilk, from any mother, is better and more nutritious for the baby than any formula you will ever find. It is not gross. You are disgusting. No offense.

I don't think you understand, then. Why do you find it inappropriate? Because you're not getting your fill of boobs? Not enough is exposed when a baby is getting its meal for you to enjoy? Obviously, a mother is going to try to be discreet. Yet people still get offended. Look away, just like people do when there is anything they don't like in front of them. For example, I hate that women wear skimpy clothes. Instead of telling them how skanky it makes them look to me, or tell them how disgusting I think they are, I look away.

It's just another body part. That's all I see it as. It's dumb that breastfeeding is so offensive to some when it's natural, necessary and doing no harm to anyone. It's sad that people are so conditioned to think a body is taboo or shameful.

Though I agree with your overall stance, this isn't entirely accurate. Most women, yes, it's true, but there are enough that seem to make no attempt to even hide herself, or even turn another direction. One time, I saw a mother and what must have been her 4 year old standing there, just flopping down freely out while the daughter stood and drank.

I think the people in this thread have seen similar things and associate all breastfeeding with that.

It's not a big deal for me, it's more important to feed a baby than think of exposed breasts. Well there a lot of breastfeeding stations nowadays, so I think it's already pretty easy to be doing breastfeeding in public places.

Every day I see mid 20's girl wearing bras for a shirt and spandex pants... Why would anyone get offended by breastfeeding? What's so bad about it? Not like no-one ever saw tits before, and the idea is that the tits is covered by a baby's head... Most of the time, these women sits appart, use a some clothing to cover the view.

Totally agree with u here, u would not want to know whats going on behind the "scenes" so just eat your food and think happy thoughts!
