    Lei Shen 10M Help

After about 50 wipes on Lei Shen this weekend I've decided to look to you guys from some help.

    Raid Comp:

    Pally Tank
    Druid Tank
    Mage
    Lock
    Ret Pally
    Hunter
    SPriest
    Resto Druid
    Resto Druid
    Disc Priest

We have been disabling the Diffusion Chains - Over Charge pillars

After about 25 wipes trying the 3/3/2/2 method wiping during the first transition we decided to begin doing the 4/4/1/1 method in which we were able to continuously get into the second transition which we were never able to successfully pass without everyone dying because of one platform getting 3 static charges at the same time two times in a row and everyone on that platform getting 1 shot. I was wondering if there is anything were doing wrong during the second transition that is causing there to be 3 statics on one platform or tips on what we can do differently. Also the groups have been using their deterrence, dispersion etc to soak the first set of statics. Is this just bad rng or what?

    Logs:
Can't post logs due to new account? (Info below if you wanna look them up)

    US-Stormrage
    Space Jam

    Thank you

You should only be getting 1 static in each quadrant. Are you leveling the static pillar up?

I'll just run through what we do in p2. (after disabling diffusion in p1)

We start at the static pillar and when he knocks the tank away (around 60% energy) we move the boss to the bolts pillar(soaking one). When he knocks the tank away(80% energy?) again we move to the overcharge one and just stay there until p2 is over. (when overcharge is about to come in it is vital that the whole raid stacks on the boss so that if you get 2 people being overcharged they wont be hitting each other with the rings). From there just push him into transition. And have your warlock place the portal from the overcharge to the static pillar so that group can get there quickly

In the transition you must make sure every1 in the groups of 4 is stacked right up so that if you get multiple people with overcharge in the same quadrant they wont hit each other, we put down flares for a reference. There is a sort of rhythm to it, stack for overcharge, spread so you can soak the bolts, stack for static and overcharge and then repeat.

Also not sure how viable it is for your group but we got our 1st kill by going down to 2 healers. If everyone is doing things right then there isn't very much dmg going out.

We go with 3/3/2/2 in p1 transition with a hunter and a mage with the tanks in the 2 groups because they can solo soak the statics if it goes on them, but I've heard 4/4/1/1 can work so thats fine. In p2 transition it should be 2tanks/4/4.

We went with 3/3/2/2 for the first transition. It's honestly not that hard. You all want to stay near the middle and then stack on the person with Overcharge when it happens, just don't stack before Diffusion Chain goes off. I'm not sure if Diffusion Chain is an issue on normal, but if it's there make sure you stack after it happened. Then just spread around loosely and have people pick up the bolts. If necessary communicate who picks up which one. For our first kill we went on Skype with the platform groups for the first transition (because TS was getting too cluttered).

For the second transition we have everyone spread loosely again, then when the Lightning adds spawn we collapse into melee range and AoE them down while also dealing with the quadrant's mechanics. Which really isn't hard. Overcharge & Static Shock: You should be stacked up in melee anyway. Bouncing Bolts: IIRC, pick them up, then stack. Not 100% sure on that one.

Then the 2nd transition is pretty much the same as the first one, but easier. You'll now have 4/3/3 people per quadrant, and you can stay stacked at all times because Diffusion Chain is a non-issue, assuming you disabled that one first.

No need to worry about P3 until you get there. Good luck.

I checked the last 3 long attempts and people died to overcharged, not static shock. You need to stack for this so you don't get hit by the "halo" of damage.

Static shock is quite simple. People that can immune do so away from others. If they can't immune then stack. If you are getting 3 in a row and 2 at the same time then you aren't overloading quite how you say you are :P

Pretty much what was just said, 2 heal the fight to start and you shoudln't level up any of the pillars in the first phase at all

Get diffusion up to 90-95 then move on the to rest leaving them at 80, depending on your dps we actually transitioned at the 2nd pillar for the first transition.

During transitions make sure your all communicating when to stack and not stack if your spread out and someone that can survive a static shock solo, can it would be better to have them bubble, dispersion, ice block etc etc. than to fuck it all up and try to stack especially if the blue swirlies are out and the same time, rng can be a bitch. Communicate though helps a ton.

For 2 healing it in transition 1 make sure to put hybrids in the other boxes and during the p2 your healers can position to help heal the other boxes as well.

In phase 2 you should just level up overcharge and make sure to stack before it goes out as Aktec mentioned.

Mainly tbh its gonna take a bit to get use to it but if your leveling up the conduits that much thats gonna be your biggest problem. Make sure everyone is using anything possible to survive thunder struck run away from the circle as much as you can etc.

you just need the communication to be there make adjustments as needed for your quadrants based off what you know your raiders can do. What they can do and what they should do are very different.

If you want example for how I would initially set up quadrants based off your comp here it is.

1 - Ret paly and spriest
2 - paly tank, healer, and mage
3 - Hunter and whichever healer switches preferably not to a feral druid but could work with certain talents or just plain awesomeness
4 - druid tank, healer, and lock

    3/3/2/2 method as stated above

again not knowing what your raiders can do etc something you could start with, also keeping in mind you want the groups with the healers to be opposite quadrants as it will make it easier for them to help heal the other quandrants in transition 2.
