    Gay marriage doesnt hurt those who are religious. We arent demolishing the rights of others. Nor do we want special rights. We want marriage. Plain, normal marriage.

    I want gay rights too... how many times must I say this. I am however, against the taking of others liberties in favor of equality.

    Sexual Orientation, is not a choice. Laws can not tell you to have a certain sexual orientation, since it's not a choice....derp.

    No, this is a common issue with people who don't understand and/or people whose goal is to obfuscate the issue. The fact that you initially pose the "issue" as "Taking rights away from people" shows how fair you're being regarding the topic.

    There really isn't even a point in arguing with somebody such as yourself, which people should have gathered from the sensationalist-as-fuck thread title. You've clearly already made up your mind and just want to espouse your point of view.

    And a TV show that doesn't support this? Or a company that doesn't? Or how about a little wedding place in Iowa? What do you do to them if they don't see your way of thinking? They aren't hurting you.

    I love this fantasy of gay groups going around looking for people to sue.

    What the hell are you talking about? Do those rights you speak of include the right to oppress gay people perhaps?

    Yes and thats where people stop understanding the core issue and start making up interpretations:

    I read a lot of people here trying to defend the bussinesowner, and to a degree they deserve protection as wel. However;

    There are laws in place that forbid you to deny service, and the day you decide to open a shop, store, cafe, restaurant or whatever, you agree and take take the risk that someday someone walks in you have to serve despite your beliefs or opinion on their lifestyle.

    So yes, if the law offers the possibility then by all means sue. All the discussion about choice of sexuality etc have actualy no weight on this matter.
    OP started stating that this was some kind of unjustice against the bussinesowners, it is not! The law is there for exactly this kind of conduct and the moment you start being a bussinesowner you are bound to it and regarded in agreement with it.

    Oh and im a straight muslim, happily married for over 14 years, religion, sexual orientation, proffesion have nothing to do with this issue, comes down to:
    Who is not in compliance with the law ? You dont agree with said law ? find something else to do or live with the consequence that you will have to serve people you dont agree with or go against your beliefs.

    First things first, this article isn't considered anything major to allow a thread like this to discuss homosexuality and sexuality.

    Second, using gay agenda on your tittle doesn't help any thread in terms of having a good and proper discussion and equating this case to all other LGBT people isn't good.

    It's fine to show your discontent to a certain group of people but saying that they are "hell bent on destroying others", and so is everyone else who supports this group of people and/or is part of it, is not okay and in no way acceptable to put on a OP.
