    First time builder

So I've always loved computers and never had the chance to build my own, but now that I have a steady job I can so..

    Here's my parts list:
Processor: Intel i5 3470 Ivy Bridge 3.2 GHz
    RAM: Corsair vengeance 8gb
    HDD: WD Black 1TB
    PSU: Corsair CX600 600w
    Motherboard: Asus Intel H77 mini-ITX P8H77-i
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2
Graphics card: Asus GTX 760 2GB
    Monitor: LG IPS224V-PN Black 21.5" (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824005363)
    Case: BitFenix Prodigy
    Mouse: Razer Naga
    & a stock keyboard

I'm not planning overclocking just yet so I'm not worried about getting an unlocked CPU
    Thoughts on the build?
My budget is around 1100-1200$ including monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Did you already buy this system or not? If you did what advice are you looking for?

Yes, but if there is any better parts that people can recommend I'll return some.

To be honest on that budget I'd probably be doing all the build from scratch.

To fix in your build? Get an i5 3570k instead of that i5 3470 and a Z77 motherboard. Makes no sense to save 50$ now when you said you will eventually get into overclocking and so will have to spend about 300$.
Fluorescent - Fluo - currently retired, playing other stuff

    i5-4670k @ 4.5 / Thermalright Silver Arrow Extreme / Gigabyte Z87X-D3H / 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM / Gigabyte GTX 760

Thank you, I'll go ahead and get the Z77 motherboard (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-mo...d-p8z77ideluxe) and the i5-3570k, & good call on the monitor & keyboard aswell.

    Small tweaks:

Low Profile RAM to fit under the EVO heatsink.

    Cheaper motherboard.

GPU, no need to return something that's fine already.

IPS monitor (HDMI/DVI). @OP, aim for 23-24" 21.5 is really small.

Cheaper case (still decent quality) to fit in other things.

Adjusted the build to not include Microcenter, unless you have access to a MC you'll be paying more than it shows above.

Mouse, if you're set on Naga then keep it - I just feels the $81 is too much. The Vengeance M95 is better quality, cheaper and also have side buttons if that's what you're aiming for.

First build is not a small form factor like the mini-ITX you had picked out. You could change something something mATX maybe?

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Motherboard: MSI Z77MA-G45 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($86.98 @ Outlet PC)
Case: Fractal Design Arc Mini MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($74.99 @ NCIX US)

Or keep your case and get this:

CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro 81.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1155 Motherboard ($113.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: BitFenix Prodigy (White) Mini ITX Tower Case ($79.98 @ Outlet PC)

You can take any other part from your build or build 1 and put it in there.
