    Elemental Tier 16 Gear List

Had to create a list of a "BiS" gear that doesn't come from Garrosh for my guild so I thought I would share it with you guys. Note I'm in a 10 man guild so none of this gear is warforged.

    Head: tier http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=99332 Thok

Neck: Untainted Guardian's Chain http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104469 Norushen

    Shoulder: tier http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=99334 Siegecrafter

    Back:legendary

Chest: tier http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=99344 Sha of pride

Wrist: Bracers of the Pristine Purifier http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104602 Spoils of Pandaria

    Hands: tier http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=99345 Nazgrim

Waist: Chitin-Link Chain Belt http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104601 Spoils of Pandaria

    Legs: Tier http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=99333 Klaxxi

Feet: Powder Stained Totemic Treads http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104622 Siegecrafter

Ring1: Signet of the Dinomancers http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104610 Thok

    Ring2: Laser-Slice Signet http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104524 Iron juggernaught

    Trinket1: DPS Amp http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104426 Immersus

Trinket2: Int Multistrike http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104544 Korkron dark shaman

Weapon: Kadris's Scepter http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104545 Korkron dark shaman

Off-hand: Visage of the Monstrous http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104579 malkorok

I know this isn't "actual" "BiS",. The healer amp trinket is also still BiS but I assume It will be unique-equip tied with the dps amp one so I didn't list it.

So, What do you guys think?

since both shoulder and chest tier has crit on them i'd prolly go for an off-piece in one of those slots, but then again, they have no spirit on them making the quite attractive afterall, but will probably not go 5/5

But crit is awesome for ele(ji-kn or durumu hc :P )

well, as long as piece of gear do not have spirit, it is fine

That moment where every single of mail int loot from Ordos is spirit + crit.

Decent list, I imagine it will be beneficial to pick up http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=104576 for cleave fights.

Not sure about the cleave trinket, 3.49% is very low and when I tested it on the PTR (granted it was a month ago) the benefit was really marginal.

I've got feeling that ele shaman is last one in need of cleave trinket.
The DPS amp trinket from Immersus is defenetly the bis one.

The second one in my opinion vary from:

Black Blood of Y'Shaarj from Garrosh
Kardris' Toxic Totem (Multistrike) from Dark Shaman
Prismatic Prison of Pride (healer AMP trinket) from Sha of Pride

It was a nice list indeed but I think the trinketquestion will differ and ofc the discussion about Off-set part without crit.

It was buffed since then. I used it recently in the testing this week, tbh I forgot what % of my dps it was but it was enough to convince me of going with it even over garrosh trinket since they nerfed that from 20 to 10 second duration.

During my tests on garrosh which was the most cleave intensive fight I've done so far it was 10% of my dps.

The offset for chest and shoulder both have spirit and or unattractive gem socket colors which aren't attractive over 5 piece. Talking with guild mates it seems a lot of other classes will also be going with 5 piece due to itemization not being terrible this go around.

Thanks for the info Ryuke, I haven't been following things too closely lately but I'll hop on the PTR some time this week to check it out.
Off-set chest and shoulders are indeed pretty crappy, I thought rainbow sockets were a thing of the past...

    Bracer > rest this tier.

3 options, all of them have spirit.

And a Mastery / Haste Ring with Spirit as socket bonus.

Personally i would pick up the offhand from Garrosh, got Haste / Mastery and a red socket, hurray for yet another tier without shield.

Too often, we are mistaken for druidic types. perhaps that's true for some shaman, but do not let yourself be plagued by the ignorant belief that we are always peaceful.
Nothing about what I do is harmonious. I command the elements to my will. There is nothing offered in return. I would have it no other way.

Spirit items that also have haste or mastery are perfectly acceptable in moderation. We won't have wooshoo causing massive hit issues, and amp trinket adds % of haste, Mastery, & SPIRIT. The black blood trinket is not only off of Garrosh(making the heroic version useless for progression) but also woefully less attractive then multi strike or amp. It has a less then 1 RPPM, that won't scale with haste and spends 8 of 10 seconds giving less int then the multi strike trinket(which currently has the same RPPM) also 2k haste=! 5% extra damage that scales with all stats.

Not including stuff off Garrosh or Warforged items, that's about what I have, though things like rings, offhand, bracers might change depending on whether haste or mastery pulls ahead. If you do include Garrosh and WF, though, Cowl of Smoking Dreams may be our off piece if mastery is ahead, with Garrosh's mace and Revelations of Y'Shaarj as our weapon/offhand combo. Again, this depends on whether haste or mastery is ahead.

And actually, I'd argue Revelations of Y'Shaarj is the better offhand either way, since it's haste/mastery instead of spirit/something, unless we're hurting for hit.

I tested the multistrike and the cleave trinket a few times. The cleave trinket outperformed the multistrike for aoe, and mutli was great for single target.

The healer amp trinket i believe will outperform both the cleave and multi trinkets, assuming they are not unique (which they are not as of now).

Like I said in another thread we won't get to live with the amp trinkets being stackable or desirable(not sure which solution they plan to go for) so at this point it seems like bringing it up is a waste. Not sure how the cleave could outperform on single target, that being said we will likely want both, unless somehow they buff black blood. I think the issue we need to tackle is prioritizing cleave vs. multi strike based on output and overall fight mechanics.

They will hotfix this 2weeks after the 1st Heroic ID is open, that's my guess.

Exactly my current list focuses on haste as that's what i'm currently going with. Also for the sake of talking about off-hands I simply put the shield off-hand up there because all the casters are going to get priority over on the Revelation's if its BiS over myself. I'll have to revisit the list to make it a BiS list after progression.

In regards to choosing helm as our off piece, our tier helm is the most well itemized of our entire tier set unless you need the spirit from Cowl of smoking dreams there is no reason too drop tier for it. Tier vs Off-Piece

The fact that all the Mail Intellect pieces Ordos drops are Spirit + Crit, as mentioned above, is just plain retarded...

Oh! Did they update that? I made my list about two weeks ago, so they might have updated the tier helm since then, because my spreadsheet shows it with spirit/haste and a crit socket bonus.

Reposting (a slightly updated version of) what I posted on Totemspot, if any of this overlaps with the original post, my bad!

To those saying they're considering only taking the 2p bonus - unless you're planning to keep the T15 2p, you'll be taking the 4p anyway if the gear goes live as-is (which it will). EDIT:

Looks like our underpowered mandatory tier set (4 of the 5 tier pieces are our BiS) might get some love.
Whilst we have no stat weights, I reckon at least 4 of the 5 tier pieces are BiS purely based on itemisation. Presumably we will be wanting to dodge spirit; whilst I haven't completed stat calcs for reforging a full set of gear yet, most of the offpieces, rings, necks etc have spirit or hit on and there are no alternatives. There's a lot of spirit/crit or similar, and since the Tier pieces are pretty nicely itemised for the most part, it's hard to imagine Warforged stats being a higher DPS increase over the 4set bonus when 5.4 goes live.

Chart showing all available gear options for tier slots (HC mode only). (Open in new tab to make it readable.)

It's pretty hard to know for certain without stat weights, or knowing the final strength of the set bonuses, but it doesn't look like they've done anything to increase the value of crit for 5.4 so far - with the 10% nerfs to FE, it might even decrease.

    Meanwhile, offpieces look like this:

We can be certain even without stat weights that the following items will be BiS:
    (Cloak) Xing-Ho, Breath of Yu'lon
    (Belt) Chitin-Link Chain Belt
    (Boots) Powder-Stained Toremic Treads
    (Ring) Signet of the Dinomancers
    (Ring) Laser-Slice Signet
    (Trinket) Purified Bindings of Immerseus

2nd Trinket I'm not even going to include here, going to wait until Simcraft gets updated. As long as Wushoolays or the 2nd Healer amp trinket aren't BiS, it won't make any difference to our stats either way and won't affect the hit cap, etc for working out a BiS list.

Also we have no definite idea how hard the Heirloom weapons are going to be to obtain. GC or a blue said that they are personal loot, the first kill you will get one for your loot spec guaranteed, after that it's a small % chance. If the Heirloom items remain un-upgradable (which would make logical sense), then they won't be BiS over HC Warforged. However, they might be less RNG to obtain. Like ToT, it will be a case of "use what you get".

    (MH) Hellscream's Warmace
    (MH) Kardris' Scepter
(MH) Horned Mace of the Old Ones

    (OH) Hellscream's Barrier
    (OH) Norushen's Enigmatic Barrier
    (OH) Visage of the Monstrous

Otherwise, it looks like (MH) Kardris' Scepter + (OH) Revelations of Y'Shaarj will be BiS (shoutout to Londo for the offhand).

Also a note: looks like with the PPM nerfs we will be gemming Mastery but neglecting Haste will be a DPS loss, essentially a reversal of Haste and Mastery at the moment.

Although, this is all pretty irrelevant if we won't even get a spot in a raid due to being shit.
