EDIT: Saw your blue, still think when they say the Titans couldn't defeat him they mean in the sense like Y'Shaarj or even C'Thun. It would make zero sense for N'Zoth to corrupt all these beings to slowly destroy Azeroth if he can up and do it himself.
I got a really weird theory....maybe N'Zoth is all well, free and alive but got his own plans and is just a bit smarter than average old gods and pursues his own plans or he might know the future, water seems to tell you that. he doesn't seem that connected to C'thun and Yogg Saron, except that they are of the same species. Anways i can nowhere read he was defeated and chained in the deep ocean or somehwere else.

Yeah, you really have no proof to support that statement.

So you are going to take the word of a wiki over the actual Cdevs who write the lore?

And here's the WoWpedia line "N'Zoth is an Old God who is likely imprisoned beneath Azeroth's oceans." And "When Malfurion Stormrage contained the Nightmare within the Rift of Aln, he sensed an "ancient evil" that was keeping its foothold in the Emerald Dream from somewhere beneath Azeroth's oceans.[7] This may be N'Zoth." is in the SPECULATION section. WoWpedia even says themselves that their claims aren't necessarily true.

No. He fought demons for so long that he became one. With a little nudging from the Nathrezim. Once he went off the deep end he decided that all of the Titans' works had to be undone, and went about releasing all the demons he had imprisoned over the millennia. These formed into the Legion.

  6. #206
Yeah, that goes with the fact that nzoth is so powerful, like all old gods, that his presence is around despite of being imprisoned

and defeat still does not neccesarily mean killing. Blizzard has never said nzoth is dead so why do you keep arguing?

The Nathrezim didn't have any direct implication in his fall, their terrible acts of pitting nations against each other for no reason other than because they could is what made him lose all hope for order and succumb into chaos. They didn't actually corrupt him like the old gods corrupted deathwing.

Nathrezim used Existential Crisis. It was super effective!

Imprisoning the Old Gods is defeating them (aside from the ones that were killed).

Except for N'zoth, whom the Titans couldn't neutralize, so not imprisoned.

N'zoth is still lurking. The Titans couldn't defeat it... maybe someday we'll get our chance? Don't expect to hear anything about him in Pandaria, though! (Source)

Yeah, they "defeated" all of the old gods and imprisoned them. But cthun for an example escaped. Nzoth still is contained. They imprisoned them in the first place because they couldnt kill them.

In that citate, still no word "killed" but "neutralize" instead. And "contain"

Could easily have been fake, but the amount of detail and 'Metzen-talk' the guy used was huge. Anyways, one of the things he said was there was a civil war in the Burning Legion, between those loyal to Kil'Jaeden and those loyal to Sargeras. I like this. It makes the Legion have more depth and could really explain where Sargeras has been.

Speaking of which, we have no idea where he is. He was sent back to the Twisting Nether, and he has audio in game from the Wrathgate, so we know he is still alive. Perhaps he is weakened temporarily and Kil'Jaeden is taking every advantage of this. He seemed pretty damn cocky in Sunwell.

Lastly, the Universe in WoW, much like the irl one, is huge. The Pantheon are most likely doing there usual thing in some quadrant of the Universe, and haven't been alarmed of what is going on in Azeroth yet. Boring, but it explains where they are.
    yeah, maybe...

Maybe it was like in England during the medieval age: king richard(Sargeras) went out on a holy crusade in the holy(titan pantheon) lands and was far away from his realm of dominance and trusted his second in command Prince John(KJ) to run the business in the homeland. But Prince John(KJ) missused his new authority to strenghten his position as new leader of the english(BL).

I mean this revolution in the BL must come with a major distraction of Sargeras. KJ wouldn't stand a chance without prober build up time.

Sylvanas in Frozen Throne almost successfully killed Arthas luring him into a trap but he was saved by Kel Thuzad. Its possible for a minion to defeat his master with the right plots and the right trap to the right time and place.

Hopefully we get a good story and not some crap, cause we waited long for this.

They would not ask or say anything, sargeras would just be obliterated.

LOL all ya'll need to go read the books, interviews and other writings by the warcraft universe creators. An wowpedia is less than a source is trash. Just find the real sources. Here I'll give you some help.

It is possible for a god to exert influence over several locations simultaneously. Yet the power of a god is limited. Otherwise, of course, the Old Gods could not have been imprisoned. Nonetheless, an imprisoned, sleeping, or otherwise enfeebled god may still have an effect--conscious or not--on the god's surroundings. The development of the qiraji is said to be the result of just such an incidental influence.

Your first citate does tell same what I just told you. Are you high?

Second citate. Bronzebeard yells that IF they had killed old god blah blah blah. Kaddrak then yells that they neutralized them and CONTAINED

Blizz citate. No word about nzoth.

Imprisoning the Old Gods was how the Titans defeated them when killing them was no longer an option... The Titans couldn't defeat N'zoth, therefore he wasn't imprisoned or killed.

I told you earlier that imprisonment = defeat, and for the latter, give me source where blizzard says that nzoth is not captured
