Alright, so here's my question: What's the main difference(es) between Warrior tanking in 10 and 25 man raiding? I mostly raid 10 mans, but I'm looking to get into a 25 man group for next patch.
I know with 10 mans, gearing is a little more flexible because the bosses don't hit quite as hard. Do 25 man tanks just stack stamina after hitting the hit/exp caps? Or do you guys go for parry/dodge as well (talking next patch here)? One of the few tanks I've talked has said, just in general, exp/stam gems in red sockets, stam in blues/prismatics, and mastery/stam in yellows. Is that all set to change in 5.4?
I'd also like to know if there's anything I could do to improve myself as a tank in general. I have logs from earlier tonight, and my armory is in my signature (I picked up Horridon's Helm, not TF sadly, because I know parry/dodge are going to be good next patch - just finished my Secrets earlier too, so getting my new meta gem!). I think I've been doing most things correctly, but then again, I'm not entirely sure.
The set-up we go with (usually changes depending on who's on) is Me/DK/monk tanking, priest/shaman/monk/paladin healing, and DPS varies wildly (mostly alts, so whatever people feel like bringing that night).
Thanks for the help, and I look forward to your replies!
