There is a "fishing hub" every day somewhere in Pandaria. What you saw was a Jewel Danio "fishing hub". They change every day and you can ask a Pandaren Fishing Trainer east of Halfhill (Valley of the Four Winds) where the today's hub is and what do you fish in it.

There was once a thread discussing "Dustwallow marsh" and any number of that people continued to refer to it as "Duskwallow"

There's a guy in Halfhill who is fishing on the east side of the village, he will tell you where the big fishing pool thingy is for the day. Basically it's infinite pools in a specific area. And if you fish long enough a big elite appears like the Lurker Below.

They introduced it in 4.1 or something? Can't remember. While ago.

I'd personally farm them whilst you can; especially if you're on a PvP server. Next patch they're found on Timeless Isle; trying to fish in peace with all the world PvP going on (not least given the incentive of the Mushan mount via Burning Brazier), i'd imagine they might be somewhat valuable.
