Around 30,000 Americans(could be more), are in the UAE. Most of them live in Dubai, while others are also living in the capital city, Abu Dhabi. A lot of them also have contracts with oil companies, especially with Adnoc (UAE), and the Saudi company, Aramco. That goes for Australians and Canadians, as well. Brits, on the other hand, are more than 80,000. There are 321 Brits in the department I work in alone. Even my neighborhood has 9 British families.

Alireza Forghani, the former governor of southern Iran’s Kish Province, threw down the gauntlet last week. Forghani is an analyst and strategy specialist in the supreme leader’s camp and closely aligned with Mehdi Taeb, who heads the regime’s Ammar Strategic Base, a radical think thank, and thus speaks with the blessing of the Islamic regime.

No, he doesn't. We have no official word on it at all. Go fearmonger elsewhere.

Can you provide proof he doesn't because I provided proof he does.

While I'm sure they will try, even if I don't believe some of the information to be true, I highly doubt they'll get far at all.

No, you haven't. You've provided proof he has ties to the government.

I have ties to the American government. That doesn't make anything I say representative of US policy.

You're assuming their government works like ours, can't argue with ignorance.

He was Khamenei's mouth piece, even though he is "former" he wouldn't speak up without his approval.
Granted it was expected that they would stoop so low with their childish threats, since they have no credible threats.

These words, they do not mean what you seem to think they mean.

Please stop spamming them all over the thread, and present some actual evidence to support your contention that Alireza Forghani is an official or unoffical spokesperson for the Iranian government.

    These guys are just insane.
If they're insane for one person making stupid boasts what are we (USA) for bombing and killing thousands in several countries for phantom "WMDs", Al Qaeda in every shadow, and bombing wedding parties.

Could say the exact same thing about the US though. So I'd be careful with your words.

Strategy Specialist: "WE will abduct American citizens all around the world!"
Aide #1: "Will that be enough to stop the infidels from attacking Syria?"
Aide #2: "Maybe we should try something more intricate!"
Strategy Specialist: "I AM ZE SPESHALIST!!! I SAY VE RAPE OBAMA'S DAUGHTER!!"

    Somehow, I giggled.

Unless that country has the muscle to hit back, pretty much yes.
