Any Potential issues with my new build from scratch?

    Hey guys,

I've decided against buying an Xbox One, and have decided to build a computer to spend.

I have about £1000 to spend, and I've created a list of components that I've put together, I'm hoping for this build to be pretty future proof but I am wondering if there is anything that particularly stands out as a no no. So thanks for your help, if you could tell me if the case included would be sufficient enough to keep the components cool.

Case : Case : Neptune Blue Gaming Case With Side Window

    MotherBoard Asus Z87-K : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Z87-K-USB3-0.../dp/B00CXL3ZQ0

    Processor I7 4770K : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Graphi.../dp/B00CV3E3XE

    HDD 2TB HDD : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Caviar-Green.../dp/B004VFJ9MK

    Memory 16gb Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 1866Mhz Memory : http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengea.../dp/B00D2LGRO2

    GFX GTX 770 : http://www.amazon.co.uk/GeForce-Dire.../dp/B00CY5GP08

Power: Just a standard 850W PSU

    Thanks again , much apreciated..

You can save $100 by switching to an i5 4670k unless you do video editing/3d design for work, I wouldn't get a 2tb wd caviar green if its going to be your primary drive (it's just fine as a storage drive), you can save a few bucks dropping down to 1600mhz ram (there isn't a noticeable difference, and ram is ram these days, any cheap 1600mhz CL9 should do) 850w is heavy overkill for just one graphics card, a good 550 or 600w would be enough and you are going to want a good aftermarket CPU cooler as this generation of Intels run hot, I suggest a corsair H60.

Edit: I'll throw a build together when I'm not on my phone unless someone beats me to it.

You havent specified for what you will be using your computer, so I'm just going to assume it is for gaming (seeing you arent buying a Xbox one).

As far as I can see (and having built a rig with the 300R) the H100 will not fit in it without modification.

Here is a build I threw together although I am sure there is still a way to shave a few pounds off the build if you had to.

Edit: Updated/Tweaked build to include a few things I missed.

For the case, get the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2. IMHO even better than the 500R and cheaper.
Why do something simple, when there is a complicated way?

Modularity, at a guess. The Seasonic is a hybrid Modular PSU (CPU&MB power are already set), which makes for cleaner airflow, due to fewer cables in the unit.

I prefer modular/semi modular power supplies as you don't have to figure out someplace to hide all the extra cables, but the OP could save himself 17 pound and go with the XFX one if he wanted, never hurts to have options.
