Hunter Death Grip???

So I was in an AV last night. I run TidyPlates and had "v" active. Anywho we waiting for the GY to cap at Drek.

I run up to the entrance and can see Drek, his 2 dogies, and 2 Tower Captains still standing and a green bar signifying a Hunter. Ok so theres only one Horde in there. I come around the corner to see about lighting him up.

He starts shooting me, and I start to cast a Lightning Bolt. Halfway through the cast, I'm yanked to his feet. Luckily someone had aggroed Drek on the other side so I got away. I was like wth?

About 20 secs later I peek around the corner (still mindful that my TidyPlates is still up and the ONLY PC I see is the Hunter). I peek around again and start to cast a Lava. Yanked to his feet again and this time Drek kills me. Hunter does an LOL emote.



So how did he do it? I have a 90 Hunter. I'm not aware of any Hunter Ability. I checked Petopia last night and don't notice any new pets. Is there a Trinket/Engineering I missed?

You didn't happen to check combat logs to see what was done to you specifically? I don't know of any ability able to do that from a hunter.

I'd guess that hunter threw an explosive trap behind you.

It was either a Camo'd Rhino that attacked you from behind or Explosive trap shot behind you.

I think it was the trap, since you wouldn't see the Hunter if he was camo'd alongside his pet.

I think either of these are much more likely. The rhino he can position with "move pet to" and then jam the knockback.

Ok that might have been it then. He had a Ravager so I completely forgot about the Explosive trap knockback. Makes sense now.
