Changing dead PSU+MB for a friend, but..

So basicly my friend somehow fried his MB and PSU so now we are swapping them for new ones. The problem is, the new PSU only has 1x 6pin and 1x 2pin PCIE connectors, while friends GPU requires 2x 3pin connectors. So how do we get around that? is there any way to make 2x 3pin from the 6 pin connector?

What kind of GPU is that? I never heard of 3-pin connectors for a GPU before.

When you say two 3-pins are you talking about this?

If so then you'd want something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812198022

Assuming of course the PSU has molex cords

These Molex --> 6 Pin adaptors (at least one) are usually included with all newer graphics card, and according to the Asus site the GTX 560 should also have had one included.

It sounds like he had a cheap PSU that fried his MB and went out and bought another cheap one. What make is the new PSU?

If it's a new Corsair PSU then it will have all the correct connectors. Which Corsair is it?
