With the new 4pc for resto shamans, I was wondering if you stacked Ascendance with your dual images of SWG that it would essentially double your healing through Ascendance.

No - it does not duplicate anything but Chain Heal, Healing Wave, GHW and HS. No other sources of output, including AG and Ascendance are duplicated.

Yep - it is about a 0.5% output increase. If they made the Spirit champions copy 100% of the spells they duplicate instead of ~25%, it might be somewhat acceptable and worth getting eventually.
