    It wasn't explicitly clear, but it seems Vol'jin, for the moment, is the figurehead of the Horde.
    He didn't jump at the title when Varian demanded to "speak to your Warchief", he simply said "I speak for da Horde".
    And, assuming by Varian's after-fight text, Alliance is going to re-assert their hold on Kalimdor.

    GARROSH HAS FAILED. HE IS NOT WORTHY OF THE OLD ONES' GIFTS.
