but is playing wow enough load to make the temps jump there? or am i jus getting paranoid and its fine?

Your getting paranoid and it's fine. Don't know about that chip, but I know that my intel chips have been rated to 90C.

Made an adjustment one day and got a wire caught between the rubber flanges on the removable side and the CPU fan, stopping the CPU Fan. The computer shut itself down at 100C...

So again, upper 50s lower 60s are fine. Pretty darn good in fact.

60c isn't a problem at all. If you get over 90c you might get concerned. At 100c it will shut itself off.

Thats pretty high for stock only playing WoW.
    My 4770k runs 50 c while playing BF3.

Can you download CPU-Z and read the voltage & max temps while stress testing? Try Intel Burn Test.
Stress level : Set "Very High"
Times to run : Set "10"
    Download CPU-Z
    ftp://ftp.cpuid.com/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.66-setup-en.exe

    Download IBT

Im assuming you also put a proper amount of thermal paste on there. (as opposed to none, or too much)
