All enchants scale, yet shoulder/leg enchants don't?

Pretty much what the title says. Enchanting scrolls lose their level requirement and with that don't cause BoA gear to become soulbound. I've read that this should apply to ALL enchants.

In that case, why can't we have the same for shoulder/leg enchants then? =/ Makes no sense having requirements on those yet allow other enchants.

I suspect it's gotta be something different between attaching a piece of armor (which reads as an enchant to you but might be something else in data) and applying a scroll.

Nah, same thing internally. They either decided not to do it or just plain missed it. My guess would be the latter.

Mail heirlooms to high level character > apply shoulder/legs enhancements > mail heirlooms back to alt > profit

Are you sure the leg enchants don't scale? They had scaling added to their effects in the database, so I assumed they would scale on live. I haven't tried it though. It seems odd that they'd go through the trouble of adding the code and then not use it.

I've tried it, they both scale.

If this is the case then it's quite weird that Blizzard didn't bother to update the tooltips for the other professions. I'll try it out and see what happens then.
