    GPU/Mobo(?) compatibility

    Hey guys,
silly question. Answer is probably 'yes' but just wanted to make sure before thinking about possibly getting this card

    Current mobo: GA-Z77X-D3H Rev 1.0 (Yes, D3H. Not UD3H. D3H)

Card I'm eyeing: Galaxy GTX 780 HoF (Hall of Fame) edition

It says it requires a triple-width x16 slot

Is that even mobo related or is it case related? I'm using a CM Storm Stryker

Basically, my question is: Will I be able to pop the GTX 780 HoF with my current mobo and case?

It means "Triple Width" as in it takes up 3 expansion slots for the card and heatsink. You probably can't SLI easily with it, but as long as you don't have much else in there, it should be fine.

You might want to reconsider. A 780 won't really be much better than a 770 on a 1080p 60hz monitor.
Fluorescent - Fluo - currently retired, playing other stuff

    Hello Ripox!

I must say i agree with my fellow Fluorescent0 here. You might want to consider on getting gtx770 its incredible good card and its still more than enough for 1080p monitor. That GPU will eat every game on high / ultra settings. And you gonna save some money.

Honestly Mr Ripox I'd wait on the new AMD cards to be announced in a week before you purchase anything. (I'm not saying buy an AMD card or not, there may be price drops on current cards.) But if I were you I'd wait until the next gen comes out because according to your signature you already have a 760 and it truly is a good enough card for now. It just seems like a lot of money to upgrade to a better card within the same generation. Just my 2c though.
