Installing GTA V on the Xbox 360

So just have a few questions to make sure if I am taking the right steps to install GTA V on the Xbox.

Currently I put in the first disk that is required to install the game. However, half way through a message requesting to insert disk 2 pops up. I oblige and insert disk 2. It loads and another message confirming "Install complete" appears on the screen and continues on to loading story mode and the game.

What I've ready in the last week or so is that installing the game from both the disks kinda glitches the game for the most part. Now I would like to know if I've gone about doing it right or have I installed from the 2nd disc as well?

If I have what should be done?

When it asked for the second disc, it didn't actually install disc 2. it just loaded the story mode.

I see. How is it then possible to install the game from the 2nd disc cause I can't really see any option to do so.
