i just seem to get better results with feather but item much lower on it :/

For my gear the H Fusion-Fire Core simulated 1,7k dps lower than the Primordius H trinket (both upgraded) and 700 dps lower than the HC TF Feather. I use the the cleave trinket on every fight where it can proc AT ALL. If it procs at least 2 or 3 times, it's better (it did 1,6% of my damage on H Sha of Price and 8-11% on H Galakras).

The main difference is, that YOU can actually use the hit rating. But that means, that you can't simply switch trinkets for every fight. My advice: use feather.
