Help with my rogue.

so, I've recently gotten back into raiding on my rogue again and it's feeling pretty strong (swapped back to rogue from a mw monk.) and I got into a decent raiding guild on my server. I'm in need of help as far as rotation / uptimes and what not, feels like I'm doing everything fairly well but I could be wrong as far as gemming, enchanting and what nots. I've seen most rogues around my gear point go agi/haste hit/haste and haste gems as assassination pre-5.4 because of the haste meta gem, rppm trinkets and now with the changes to rppm/meta/legendary/trinket proc chances via haste most I've armory'd in the top 50ish guild range have gone crit.
I'm still mastery at the moment and wondering what I'm doing wrong to be unable to seriously compete on the DPS meters, most of the time I'm 2-3 on the damage meters out of our three rogues.
right now I have my legendary cloak, meta and assurance, no tier quite yet and some 536 weapons.

Best patchwerk fight is the iron juggernaut - it provides a flat field for every class with not much movement, even if you have to run for a mine every time.

To be honest, i don't see heavy flaws in your performance, and compared to the other rogue you have some ilvls less - especially the weapons, which are a really great deal. I do slightly more than your damage, but i run 10man and as you can see from my armory in sig, i have a better weapon that compensates a lot for the low ilvl pieces i still have (rocking 2t14 here). So i don't think your performance is that skewed - unfortunately no one does logs anymore, i think i should start recording and upload them again.

I ran a couple of reforge/regem on Shadowcraft - your current setup grants 221560 dps. A couple of reforge/regem later i obtain a maximum of 222245 dps, so we're talking about less than 1k dps increase. Tried to switch some priorities, but still i didn't get any higher. So i think you're on line with your gear, though it can be improved a bit.

Last note, don't compare yourself with top 50 guilds or top rogues - more than often they run very specific setups tailored to specific fights, so until you get to that level don't worry much :P Anyway the fact many go for crit is about the 2t16, that shifts the stat wights for assassination quite a bit and makes basically haste = mastery = crit. Hence for balancing the three stats you will need to reforge some other stats into crit.

that's pretty solid advice, just looking for what I'm doing wrong for rotation, if it's just rng crits or if it's me just failing at my rotation or what. I'm pretty well optimized as you can see but now it just seems as if it's me and not the gear.

Uptimes were fine, also your damage distribution is basically equal to the rogue who did 200k+ dps. So i don't think it's the rotation.

In my opinion, you need to reforge the Haste to Mastery, Mine ilvl is less 2 level than yours, still got more mastary than you. The ASS Rogue needs mastery.
