    Not falling for the 'ibs habenin' stuff again. This is likely just a troll. They already own 'Half Life', so why would they need to register 'Half Life 3' separately?

    That, and Valve doesn't go to 3.

    I'm going to try and remain cautiously optimistic and not get too excited until Valve come out and confirm it. Luckily I just found out my Oculus Rift is coming tomorrow, so I'm much more excited about that. OMG, what if HL3 is natively compatible with the Rift??? Fuck, I tried...

    You have to do something with the trademark within a certain amount of time (believe it's 3 years), so they were probably waiting until they were at a point where they could realistically make it.
