Low Deadly Poison DOT Tick.

I was doing a raid and i looked at my recount and i noticed that my DP DOt ticks a average of 24k and another rogue it was 57k average. The other Rogue only was 9% more mastery and similar item lvl, why is my DP DOT ticks so low ?

What spec were you? And Trinket procs have a huge part of dot ticks.

I'm assassination. my item level is a bit lower than the other rogue.

That was my first guess ,but when i checked the armory he had only 9% more mastery than me. I don't think 9% mastery can impact the ticks that much but i might be wrong.

Do you mean average tick damage or the average of highest and lowest tick in that fight?

We need more information:
1. Who are you? (and how are you geared, specced, and choosing to play that spec?)
2. Who was the other rogue? (same questions to that rogue as well)

if you don't feel like providing that, my best guess (similar to the other guesses) is that the other rogue had more gear and was a Mastery-focused Assassination rogue, while you had less gear and probably was not playing a Mastery-focused Assassination rogue.

Link both Armory of the rogues. My guess would be mastery difference

Most likely those are the ticks during a rune proc. That trinket is pretty horrible however.
