    Unspoken Rules

Do you think there are unspoken rules in WoW? If so, what do you think they are?

I think there are unspoken rules that vary from server to server but not in the entire game itself.

Rule 1 of the unspoken rules - Do not speak of the unspoken rules.
Rule 2 of the unspoken rules - DO NOT speak of the unspoken rules.

I think there are, but they are so subconscious for everyone that no one can figure out what they are. ;P

I know Blizz's statement about it says otherwise, but I think most people agree with the above statement. Need rolling everything is why the Cata LFR loot system went to hell.
Oh man, never play on Taiwan/Chinese servers. Everyone needs on everything. All the time. No exceptions.

one unspoken rule I've noticed is when i was raiding its basically how we played the blame game but we never pointed fingers. If a tank died it was healers fault. If we hit berserk it was DPS's fault. if adds are lose/pulled aggro and causes a wipe it's the tanks fault.

Always, tip for profession services. If they have to jump to an alt, tip them an extra 5-7%. Usually tip around 20%. Look at it as a major discount on an item. It makes it feel like a profession and that your time is actually worth SOMETHING.

Yup. I get confused when people say "Okay, Star is the second target..." "Wait, shouldn't X be the second target?"

never reset a rare or a world boss if you lost the tag. pvp flagging yourself in hopes that they slip up is fair game however.

Don't try to out-dps me on the meters, or I will do everything in my power to keep you below me.

DO NOT. APPROACH. THE DOG PARK.

I think, really, the Need only if you need it rule is one of the first ones that come to mind.

    Tip for profession services/portals.

that rule always seemed a bit failed IMHO.

"need if you need". what if one is in desperate need of gold? people will kick him for ninjaing anyway, even though he rolled need because he needed it, not for equipping, but for selling lol

There is a reason items vendor for next to nothing. You can do a quest that takes less than a minute and get the same amount of gold. Versus stealing an item from someone who has been farming the items for hours, or days? And if that kind of thing becomes encouraged, then when it's your time that an upgrade drops you will get it stolen for someone to vendor for a couple of gold. Just go out and do some dailies. Don't steal from people who actually need an item.
