So what's stopping you from going? Also, go in spring, if you go in autumn, you will indeed die. If you go when animals start to appear, you will have a chance to get used to the area before the next winter comes.

Good luck if you're not serbian. The serbians are notoriously racist, genocidal, and stupid. As such, it's not the environment that'll kill you, it's the "people". Or did the attempted genocide, rape camps, and wanton murder of bosnians not teach you that?

Yet more evidence that Putin deserves the Nobel Peace Prize - not once, under his watch, has Siberia attacked Bosnia.

I must admit that when I first saw the thread I thought it said Serbia, then I happened to actually read what the thread was about rather than just posting willy nilly.

Kind of reminds me of the movie "Hanna" (Good music score, by the way)

Yeh kinda sucked in my opinion. But I wasn't in the right frame of mind. Would you suggest watching it again? I actually love saoirse Ronan to bits.

No, it wasn't that good. But I liked it because the music and the style of shooting was reminiscent to me of foreign films like "Run, Lola, Run" (Which is awesome).

Go play minecraft or minecraft with terrafirma craft mod, this should satisfy your survival needs.

Bear Grylls is fake, i like survivorman better, it's just 1 person filming himself surviving few days in different places. You should check that.

Summers were ~86-105 degrees and also a lot less oppressive because of a lack of moisture in the air.

Never stepped foot north of the trans-siberian though, so no idea how much further up north until it gets bad

And you were still in the warm part of Michigan :P

I love camping, but living in the wild? I'll never understand that fascination. Give me a condo with a balcony overlooking the warm ocean beach any-day... and also a little flag in my mojito. Very important.

Related (about tweets after the Boston explosion, people confused Chechnya and Czech Republic):

Bomb the Czech Republic? Raise your hand if you
think that would be a good idea.
No one? Going once. Going twice.
    Good.
Yet, just one month ago, right after the Boston
bombings, droves of raving Tweeters called for exactly
    that.
A typical Tweet read, “I can’t believe those two in
the Boston bombing were NOT Towel Heads!!! They
are Czechoslovakian!” And another, “I’m tired of this
    stuff. . . nuke Czechoslovakia.”
