"Time stands still here. The scenery is beautiful. I can ride on the backs of albatrosses." [pause] "OK, what's the chef cooking tonight?" He leaves.
But back on topic, the idea that ground mounts force nostalgia is crap. If we had flying continuously through leveling content it'd just make everything so easy and would dumb the game down further than is already believed to be. I don't feel nostalgia in a no-fly zone, just more time to run around and take a good look at the area. I enjoyed the content of Isle of Quel'danas when it was released, and the blood elven scenery and fun quests were awesome. You wouldn't get to appreciate it as much if you could fly around. But still, it's your choice whether you use a flying or ground mount to quest/explore/grind etc. No-one's forcing you to use ground mounts. Hey, I love archaeology because while I use my flying mount, I admire the scenery and the work used to create a shattered world, I also love the little info you get with the relics of the past, and it beats waiting in SW (something I didn't do too much of during Cata).
A great deal of effort goes into making zones that have no-fly zones or don't, and you should appreciate what the designers have done sometimes. I was reminded of the quality of Vashj'ir when I went to the goddamn Sea Life Centre!
I have no problems with no flying in Pandaria untill 90... but then the price for getting the skill to fly should not be that high. I mean, we paid large amounts of gold for having all the fly-skills. Now they want us to not fly for game-play reasons, well then don't charge 2.5K at 90 for getting the skill.

Next time you guys log in, Blizzard should freeze your character, spawn your favourite mount and shoot it in the head. - Mormolyce
