If they kill it on heroic then yes. your HC id is unique

He shouldn't get saved because Immerseus is the first boss and he'd be leaving the instance before the boss is pulled.

The conditions for getting saved to a heroic ID are as follows:

You zone into a raid set on heroic after bosses have already been killed (even if they were killed on normal).

or

You kill the first boss of the instance on heroic.

Those are the two conditions. You don't HAVE to kill a boss to be saved, but you DO have to have a boss down and the instance set on heroic.

OP: If you zone in, set it to heroic, zone out, and THEN they fill your spot and pull, you should be fine. No guarantees, of course, but there's no reason you should get saved if it's the first boss and you zone out before entering combat.
