This is a quick question, so please don't rage but I couldn't find any mention of these on google. Did I imagine the pictures (at least a year or two ago :[ )that had teased angel/devil wing "mounts" for sale for WoW? What ever happened to that was it a joke or...?

Just because they (or someone) joke about it doesn't remove it from the realm of possibility, that's true. It could appear in some form in the future, we never know.
