Sky Golem. Not quite a fan.

The swaying through the air thing was an issue brought up on the PTR. If you're zoomed in close while flying it can be quite disorienting for some people, thankfully zooming out a bit while flying makes it far less annoying and nauseating. I'm quite happy with it, though I'm a bit concerned that the mats are a bit much for it. I would have thought 15 days to make it rather than 30 would be a little more reasonable considering everyone and their mums has made one easily anyway. Waiting another 30 days just to get both rascal bot and pierre seems a bit shitty too.

Someone in Blizzard's animation department needs a huge slap in their face and a replacement set to start working on fixing that godawful flight animation.

I said this in the other thread. I really think that the Sky Golem needs a paint job. The cobalt blue is pretty damn ugly. I'm still making one, but now that people have seen them running around, the hate they're receiving for being an ugly mount is understandable.

Totally happy with it, The "swinging left to right, and the barrel rolls" just make it a more interesting mount
That + running round in what looks like Bevis's Head, with ED 209's Legs stuck to the side of it can help but smile

Cost 50k which for me is a a day or two trading on the AH, Well worth every copper

Same here, unless you're talking about his first flight tests where he was unstable(didn't last long if I recall correctly).

Goblins aren't Tony Stark. While "unstable" was the very first step for him. It is the pinnacle of technical perfection for the gobz.

Bought mine for 49k. Well worth the money. Its mega cool, but the best thing is that i can use it to gather herbs. Man is it fast and easy!

what about just point a direction and auto fly u wont move a inch from the way ur facing lol the swing while flying is just looks doesnt even blok u at mountains so dont see a problem

i love this mount my self def one of my fav mounts so far onlything im missing is that it doesnt support underwater increase speed it changes to propellors and everything but no benefits from it

The only reason i made the sky golem was to herb with it on my rogue alt considering i'm alliance and don't have a druid to farm with, i was hoping this would be an equalizer allowing me to herb and not dismount, but given how wildly the mount swings from side to side it's freaking annoying to try and land on a node to herb it. After about 5 minutes i was over it, not only is it a pain in the ass for farm with the side to side swaying, barrel rolls and the flying forward imo makes it the worst mount out here

It's an okay mount. I used Smite's Compass + Giant Growth Elixir on a gnome to stomp around with it for like half an hour to show off and whatnot, but I'm done with it now. The swerving back and forth is cool for about two seconds until you realize it makes it needlessly difficult to steer.
