Assassination rogue help needed

Looking for some advice for our guild's assassination rogue to help improve dps. Or maybe Dark Shaman encounter is a bad fight for rogues? Any advice welcome.

Just a few things to start you off, although most of these make me think your rogue has to have been AFK or just walked out of melee for an extended period of time:

-3 uses of SnD. This auto-refreshes on envenom, and should never drop unless you're on something like Lei Shen intermission with no adds in your area.
-Low envenom uptime.
-Low rupture uptime.
-1 use of Shadow Blades instead of 2. Also not aligned with vendetta.
-Loses deadly poison uptime (HOW? Off target for >12 seconds? Forgot to re-apply it?)
-Using garrote on main target. This is not a DPS increase.
-1 use of Synapse Springs (out of 7)


Looks somewhat better on the kill, but there's still a really HUGE and weird gap in uptime for envenom/SnD in the middle of the fight. Biggest needs: figure out why he's spending time not attacking, or with deadly poison not on his weapon. Second biggest answer: tell him to read a basic assassination guide and check over his priorities, before getting into anything complex.

Do you guys split the bosses? If you do just put him with the one that drops the wall and can be disarmed. Did wonders for my dps as an assass rogue.
