T 16 4pc for Enhancement weak aura help

Hey guys. I noticed that when my 4pc procs, my lava lash icon glows on my bars. Great. But It's sometimes hard to see in hectic combat. At this point I am used to Lava lashes cool down so I am
Just automatic with it but now that it's unpredictable I wanna make a weak aura for it.

Does the 4pc proc a buff or something some kind of anything that I can use? Or would I just need to make a weak aura for when it's off cool down ?

You can make one for when LL comes off cd which is probably your best bet. Although I think the 4 piece procs a full stack of searing flames buff so you could write an WA to track the stacks of that instead. Or both.

I use TotemTimers to track my CD's on my short cooldowns (stormstrike/shock/lavalash/firenova/feral sprint)



It's a pretty good addon to show some other stuff like CC etc. I use this 1 since WotLK

I've managed to do competitive dps without addons so far (except dbm, dps meter)... Now, I don't have the 4-piece set yet and I've been wondering would it be possible manage those LL cd resets without an addon?

It's Possible you will see a buttonglow when it comes of cooldown (because you get the 5 stacks searing totem buff). But an addon shows it better.

Of course it's possible, almost anything you can do with an addon can be done without, although in most cases you're just making things hard on yourself by electing not use the addon solution. We don't have customizable UIs just to make things pretty, you know.

If you use Endus' shaman auras, it tracks the 4pc automatically w/o you having to do anything

Basically, if Lava Lash becomes available before it's "default" cooldown since you last cast it, it'll alert you. In practice, this means the 4piece procced.

Of course any thing is possible without an addon, but why wouldnt you want to maximize performance?
Most addons will only improve your performance, being against them is only making you inefficient.
