    Soloing stuff = hunters

end game stuff = locks but hunters are still a good choice.

Affli lock is so much fun when solo leveling. Dot 10 mobs, wait. Loot. Repeat.

I got a destro lock but can't seem to get the hang of affli lock plus it feels like it does less dps

I'm interested to hear how people think hunters are a better solo class than locks.

As a hunter I have to say locks in every way.

Can tank better, more utility, more AoE, self healing

Locks are great, but Shamans and Pallys are better for soling cause they can heal themesleves, so you have much, much more flexibility in fights than other classes.

As a hunter, I agree with this. It also seems that their Voidwalkers hold threat better on the Timeless Isle mobs than my hunter pet does.

Warlocks are awesome for soloing. Able to solo FL25m with some heroics.

When leveling you can use glyph of misdirection and basically pull all mobs in the area without ever taking damage yourself. I use the JSHB left click misdirection addon and I chain pull casting mend pet every now and then without ever taking damage myself when doing daily quest or whatever. If you feel you pulled too much and your pet dies, feign death and start over again. You never have to take a single hit of damage.

Both specs have their niches in soloing.

Which spec would be best for soloing timeless isle and warbringers in panda land

I've generally found that classes with instants are easier to solo with (hunters + melee) although that could just be my melee bias. In terms of max level soloing, I'm pretty sure hunters are ahead. They were able to do Atramedes solo in Cata but I'm not sure if they can solo any of the 90 bosses yet.

Just level Death Knight and never look back
