    New computer, new wireless problem!

    Hey,
I posted a thread about a week ago about my laptop and the very expensive repair it needed. I caved and got a new computer. This one to be exact. Picked it up this evening. It all went fine, and the SSD is on a whole new level of quick. One problem though: the wireless internet.

Now, let me start by saying that wired internet is simply not an option. I've been using a USB dongle for almost 1.5 year and it has been great. It's this one. On my old PC, I would get download speeds of 50-55 MB and now it's down to 2 or 3. I've done everything. Re-installing it, enabling or disabling settings, everything. What should I do? Get a PCI card or get a new USB dongle? Once again, wired is not an option.

Also, try checking your router channels. Maybe moving to a new channel (if its on the default 6) might improve things.
