Guild Information
Origin was formed during patch 4.2 as a 10-man raiding guild, primarily consisting of ex-hardcore raiders wanting to raid less but still progress at a decent rate in current content. Since then our aim has been to maintain our position as the #1 10-man raiding guild on Alonsus.

We are a friendly bunch of people and most of us are pretty active throughout the week, with a large group of social players as well - we accept players to our social ranks who are both friendly and active, usually but not solely through friends that are currently in guild.

Our guild currently encompasses 3 raid teams, a 3 day/week semi hardcore team, a 3 day/week semi-casual team and a recently established 2 day/week casual team. We also run ad hoc alt/social/flex raids most weeks.

The guild has plans to upsize to 2 Mythic raiding teams in the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion, with one team raiding 3 days and the other raiding just 2 per week.

(10-man) Team 2 - 8/14HC - 3 nights per week - 20:00-24:00ST - Wed/Thur/Sun
(10-man) Team 3 - 13/14NM - 2 nights per week - 20:00-24:00ST - Wed/Mon
(25-man) Team 1 + Team 2 - 7/14HC - One off Christmas raid.

Team 2 Recruitment
DPS
We are currently looking for additional DPS for our roster. Our primary interests are for:

• Warlock
• Balance Druid
• Shadow Priest
• Rogue

Exceptional applicants for all specs and classes are welcome and will always be considered. Recruitment for 25HC and Mythic raiding is also open for all classes and specs, though may not guarantee a 10HC raid spot in the short term.

Requirements
Attendance - 3 nights per week - Wed/Thur/Sun - 20:00ST to 24:00ST
We only consider players able to raid all 3 of our raid days, so if you can't raid that often for the full raid duration stated above, please don't bother applying! We are also looking for players wanting to stick it out in the long term; we don't want recruits who decide to pack in raiding mid tier, so being able to commit to a full tier of progression at the very least is vital.

We understand that people have real life commitments as well and expect the occasional absence, but there also have to be limits to the level this can impact the raid team as a whole and we can't have 9 people waiting for the other few people that didn't show up!

The Rest - Attitude > Skill > Experience > Gear
Ideal candidates have a good attitude, are highly skilled and well experienced in Heroic raid content, with a good set of gear. However, we have been known to make exceptions with regards to players with less experience and/or gear, providing they have a good attitude and are very highly skilled.

Updated - Team 2 got Spoils down last night, Siegecrafter is up next!

Team 2 also got Siegecrafter NM and started working on Thok NM tonight!

On a side note, Team 1 got Spoils HC in a couple of pulls tonight and started on Thok.... the hard bosses have started!

Ahead of incoming Heroic progression (Thok, Paragons and Garrosh kills inc!), Team 2 are looking to rearrange their composition somewhat and improve on all aspects of the team both in terms of roster skill, player availability and commitment and player skill.

Recruitment opened for the following classes:
Tank - Brewmaster Monk, Protection Paladin or Guardian Druid
Ranged DPS - Mage, Warlock, Boomkin or Spriest
Healer - Resto Druid, Resto Shaman, Mistweaver Monk or Disc/Holy Priest

Strong applicants of classes not stated in the above list are always welcomed and considered, so please don't be put off if you would be interested in raiding with us and your own class/spec isn't on the list above!

Team 2 managed to scoop themselves both Thok and Paragons normal kills last night!

Just Garrosh to go before they can crack on Heroic progression.... still looking for more skilled players of any role to flesh out the roster.

Team 2 got Immerseus and Norushen HC down last night Not a bad effort for their first Heroic reset. Expecting big things in the near future, but could use with additional ranged DPS in particularly, to help achieve rapid progression.

On a side note, Team 1 also got Thok HC this week and are looking for a Warlock specifically for the last 3 bosses!

Updated: Team 2 @ 8/14HC. 3% wipe on Malkorok last reset as well, so should see that down tonight or Sunday!

Not actively recruiting for Team 2 at the moment, but a strong applicant of any class or spec would certainly be considered.

Update: Team 2 have now got both Malkorok AND Spoils down, so will be starting on Thok Heroic this reset.

They have just opened recruitment for additional DPS and are primarily interested in a Warlock, Boomkin, Shadow Priest or Rogue. However, any exceptional DPS would be very welcome!
