    25 man Garrosh

    We are getting into Phase 3 with empowered abilities and it just seems we get adds before going into that 3rd transition. We cant seem to kill them before we get pulled in and when we get out it just gets into a mess.

    Also we are having issues with MC's near the end when you cant stun them any tips on how to deal with this headache?

    If you don't have enough DPS to push the boss to phase 3 before 3rd Transition and you can't control them well enough to kill them separately after that transition, ignore the last wave of add (should be the one right before you are sucked in). Have the OT pick them up and kite them around. This OT will also pick up any add waves that come later in p3, and continue kiting - ask for stuns / AoE grip if needed.
    You may want to dump some CDs on the MT when his debuff stack is high. Have the whole raid stacks under boss when MC is coming and use Ring of Peace / Solar Beam as AoE interrupts when MC comes, with everyone (including tanks and melee) AoE / cleaving, the MC should be broken within seconds. After all MC are broken, the range DPS / healers will move away. Ignore every adds and just DPS boss only. You may need to stack under boss another time if your DPS isn't high enough to kill boss before 2nd MC in phase 3.

    This may be helpful but this is coming directly from 10 man perspective.

    When mcs become immune to stuns etc in the last phase we have our melee come stack with ranged a couple seconds before mcs go out. It helps a ton to have melee there the second someone gets mced. If you are interrupting someone, call out their name in vent/mumble etc so no one double/triple interrupts. But usually with melee there the second they go out, we burn them down pretty fast.

    We never got a 3rd intermission. We usually have 2 sets of adds before we push him into the last phase. But what we do after killing the first set is completely ignore them and have a tank pick up and kite the adds while dps push boss.

    thank you for the replies, I will pass this on to the leader. I know tho, that when we are getting out of second transition the boss is at like 40% so we are pretty far off from not getting third >.>

    You could try dropping a healer. We had some DPS issues, too, so we kept dropping healers until it wasn't a problem. Killed it with 4 finally.

    40% when you come back from the second transition is not that bad. For a first kill it seems fine .. but maye you can optimize your DPS too !

    The question is how you handle the phase 1 and the start of the phase 2 (before the second transition).

    In my case we choose to be stack everytime since p2.5 (Second transition!), something like this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG2D0...layer_embedded We gain some extra DPS on the boss o/ After that he problem is just the end of the p2 and the p3!

    After the second transition in p2 we made two pack, ranged/cac. All ranged spread in 20-30y, CAC don't move, during a Empowered WC corruption and each player try to manage one add. The MC in p2 is really trivial, and we don't really care if people are not stack. We also start to ignore all desecrated weapon. At this time you have two case : 1) you have enough DPS to get the boss at 10% before the third Empowered WC or 2) you don't have it and you maybe need try to kite the add of the third Emp WC.

    Anyway, the goal is to have a clean transition p2->p3 ! Bloodlust at 10.5% hp of the boss, use all cooldown, all dps above 10% is a win for the P3. After that you just need to know this pattern for the P3 :
    - Two pack : Ranged/CAC -> Desecrated Weapon #1
    - Stack CAC -> Mind Control #1
    - Two Pack : Ranged/CAC -> Desecrated Weapon #2 -> Empowered WC #1 -> Kite ADD
    -> Stack CAC -> Mind Control #2
    - Two Pack : Desecrated Weapon #3 -> Empowered WC #2 -> KILL THE FUCKING BOSS FFS =]

    You can always stop DPS on Garrosh until things are back under control. You want a very clean push into phase 3 with lust and everything up, so that you really start phase 3 around 20% or so. That will make it go by much, much more quickly.

    Couple things looking over logs. Your dps is looking pretty good. One this I noticed and we had the same issues you are having pushing towards our 25 man kill.

    Youre dps needs to push past phase 1 without Timewarp/hero/lust. Its pretty much a requirement.

    Youre ret paladin could push his dps more with using Seal of Righteous during p1, hes not using it at all, and his Inquisition uptimes could improve.
    Also, your other 2 hunters could try to match the top hunter, that would probably help you out a lot there DPS benchmark wise to push P1 without using TW/Lust/Hero.

    Something we adopted and previous people to me have mentioned. During P2, as soon as Garrosh throws his desecrated weapon at ranged/healers, IMMEDIATELY have ranged stack in melee to get MC'd cleaved down ASAP. Its hugely invaluable. When MC's are broken, have ranged go to next stack point for desecrated weapon, and just repeat that until 2nd heart phase.

    2nd Heart phase you should be looking to start dpsing the boss again when he gets to between 25-30 corruption, depending on what place you get.
    1. ToES- Just have every single person run to Garrosh, and then AOE all the adds down in front of him, use speed boosts to get there. People need to get the bubbles for dmg reduction
    2. Temple of Crane- Speed boost at start and get to adds asap to kill them, enough said, dont forget to have your grps standing in the cirle of light before it hits the ground to reduce damage in that phase
    3. Temple of Jade Serpent- Have ranged dps kill adds to left and right and middle, have tanks and melee run immediately to the grp closest to boss and start killing them.

    When you come out of 2nd heart you will deal with empowered desecrated weapons, its pretty much a guarantee. Melee should absolutely not be in melee range during Empowerd axes to minimize how many adds spawn on tanks, reason why later. Ranged stays loosely spread for this, and spread when adds come out and focus them down. Right before MC's come out, stack on boss/melee to break MC's again quickly, really single target them down if you have lots of adds up still. Just repeat this, and you should get close to P3 transtion or hope to be after 2nd set of adds comes out. If its close, and you have time before 3rd heart, clean up adds, then push him, it really helps.

    As soon as he starts to transtion TW/Hero/Lust pop 2nd pots and burn for a good 20-25 seconds on him, and just stack semi close to melee for MC's and go to your stack points for weapons. As stated, let the OT pick up adds so dps and burn the boss.

    Best of luck and hope this helps

    40% is perfectly fine.

    It sounds like your problem, much like ours, is handling the adds. We finally got our kill by having our monk go tank and kite the adds for the rest of the fight. First time we got to phase 3 with this strategy, we killed it. (That means we had 3 tanks, btw, but it can still work with 2 tanks assuming your Garrosh tank has proper heals and cooldowns)

    Some groups are able to kill adds and, with enough practice, you will be able to as well. It does, however, drain your DPS and makes the fight harder. If you have a monk that can spec tank and kite the adds, that will make it a whooooole lot easier. Otherwise, just keep practicing.

    Side note: Are you allowing your ranged players to stay stacked up with melee for NORMAL whirling corruptions? We started doing that and it brought our DPS up a bit. Healing cooldowns weren't even required for it. As long as a desecrated weapon isn't going to hit before the corruption, there's no downside.

    The more dps on this fight the better. A couple things we do to try to maximize it:

    1) We 5-heal it, but 4-healing is definitely doable if people aren't dumb about picking up the damage reduction buff in the intermission phase.
    2) In P1 we stack on the boss tight. When he throws the desecrated weapon, everyone but the interrupters switch to it and it dies in seconds. This also makes it easy to pick up the adds as they all just run to the group.
    3) We hold lust until after the first intermission phase (the start of P2). During this phase, until the second intermission, we stay stacked in one group or two and just move around in a square as the weapons drop. We had him to 30% at the start of the second intermission.
    4) We make sure people are really focusing on dps (in addition to staying alive) during the intermission to counteract the heal, and we had him at 28% coming out of the second intermission.
    5) After the second intermission, we moved him to one side of the room stacking at all times. Even during the empowered whirling, the ranged camp all strafed to the left to both avoid the spawning adds damage and make it easier to heal. We killed this set of adds, pushed him to P3 right before the second set of adds, stacked and burnt him only moving to avoid the weapon and spreading for the one set of adds we got in P3. This set of adds we used a DPS warriors mocking banner to collect them and right after a tank switch, our warrior tank (me) dropped another mocking banner and I kited them til he was dead.

    This seemed to maximize both our dps and control during the fight and illustrates how important dps is in making the fight easy. We killed him in 9:54.

    Logs

    And here is the video (hope some of this helps).

    We run a 3rd tank who kites the adds the entire fight (monk). You can have your monk do that (and yes I see he is one of your top dps) and it will completely trivialize the adds the whole fight. You do not need any kind of special gear to do it either, and ww monk can do that with ww gear. Your DK tank could probably do it too and get your paly to solo tank the whole p3 as another option. You can also drop to 5 healers so even with a 3rd tank you can keep the same number of dps.

    For MCs in p3, if you aren't in a solar beam its vital your melee/range actually switch and single target them down. They have way too many hp to try to cleave/ae before casts go off. If every single dps stops tunneling the boss and switched to interrupt, it isn't actually that bad. We have melee group and ranged group and unless its very lopsided, each group interrupts the mcs there so we don't run around needlessly.

    No, thats just wrong. You're free to use it in your raid whenever, but using it on the pull if you are getting 3 realm phases anyway isn't a bad option because you will get a second one during p3 just likely not at the start (but should be in time for MCs if you want to use it to break them faster). We killed it that way the first time, so no, it isn't pretty much a requirement it is entirely up to choice. Now we murder him so fast he doesn't get anywhere near a 3rd realm though and the fight doesn't last for 2 lusts.

    I'd like to give credit to the strategy used in the video in this thread. My guild had been wiping on this for at least 3 raid nights with the strat we were previously using. Once MCs came out in P3 we were just too spread out and would wipe. We tried this strat last night and within 5 pulls (after getting used to the drastic change) he was dead. Much kudos to Tehpounderer!
