I'll pick it up. Maybe not on launch, but at some point. IW's games don't tend to hold me for as long in the multiplayer as Treyarch's, but I always enjoy the campaigns of both. And hey, new setting after 6 years with Price & Soap!

Now, if only my closest friend group actually held interest in the game. Clan wars do sound fun.

wierd seeming the majority of ppl favor all the COD titles made by IW over Treyarch. COD MW and MW2 are about the best games in the series for online play

i'm more amazed that the game requires 40GB of hard drive space O_o

I think it's a mixture of the higher res textures obviously taking up more space, and inefficient data storage. There was a big article semi-recently on Killzone being roughly 120GB or so when it was first being made, and they had to do a ton of work to figure out a way to effectively compress the size of the game.

Next-gen games are not going to be small. No more of this 4-8GB stuff.

MW2 did it. Not 100% on MW3 or BOI, but I know BOII does it but exchanges kills for points earned from kills/assists. It's functionally identical in rewarding good play by making you more powerful.

i'd get it if either the game was £20 or the DLC was free, the same reason i am not buying BF4.

Pretty sure guns are still level restricted, but attacments are unlocked right away. I might be wrong though.

I don't think we have the final pointstreak list, and if you complete field orders you're rewarded with a care package

Yeah, you can get the missile thing from that that changes the level drastically.

I was debating whether to pick this up or not. Played ever CoD on launch night since CoD4 but decided to wait to see what it was like on twitch and from friends before spending. Gotta say, im kinda glad I didn't buy it. Going by a few of the PC streamers, the PC version has some really bad FPS problems when playing on anything above 720p. The maps look extremely small too, which has been a criticism since Black ops 1 yet it seems they still haven't listened, and considering they bragged about using a "new" engine, which is really just an upgraded engine they used for the past several years, I expected a little more in terms of visual appeal.

I know i'm jumping to conclusions as I've watched literally an hours worth of game play, but 1st opinions tend to stick and from what I can see, will get pretty stale after a week or so. A lot of the weapon attachments i've seen somewhere before (Muzzle break, long barrel etc you know where that is going) and the weapons themselves look a little boring. I'll probably pick this up later next year during steam summer sale when its like 10-20 quid off, might be worth playing single player and a day or 2 of the MP but imo it's definitely not worth the full asking price.

the new game mode Extinction is fucking awesome to say the least having so much fun in it
