    Computer Freezing, A continuing problem

Ok, i made a post a couple days ago about how my computer was stuttering but got no help. I fixed it but now it is just full on freezing!

I Just re-installed windows to see if that was the problem, but after about an hour it just locks up and I have to do a hard restart. It has done this about 7 times in the past 48 hours.

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

    CPU AMD FX-8120
    Motherboard Asus Sabertooth 990FX
    RAM Gskil Sniper 1866 4x4
    Graphics Card Gigabyte Radeon 6950
    Power Supply OCZ 750w
    Operating System Windows 7 Professional
    Resolution 1920x1080

If it just "locks up" without crashing it's most likely to be (in order):
    Driver fault
    Hard Disk fault
Power Supply Fault / Unstable-Overclocking of components
    CPU Fault / Heat fault
    Motherboard Fault
    RAM Fault

Probably easiest if you do it in this order:

    Check temperatures. - http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Check your HDD with a program like Crystal Disk Info - http://crystalmark.info/software/Cry...o/index-e.html (It should clearly say, "Good", "Warning" or "Bad").

Check you have the latest drivers for everything (GPU, Sound, Motherboard, Bios)

    Reset any overclocking.

    Run MemTest - http://www.memtest86.com/

Test your system with another PSU if possible.
    "" CPU.
    "" Motherboard.

also try checking for errors in windows event viewer for possible issues -> timeframe when the computer hangs up.

    CrystalMark came out "GOOD"

    Memtest Passed

CPU is at stock clocks and temps are fine

All drivers are up to date.

I am getting a spare PSU and a GPU from a friend this weekend to test those.
